    O dear.
    I hope Harry can keep his temper under control. ;-}

Looks like Severus is going to be having that "chat" with Mr. & Mrs. Weasley after all. ;-} I hope that they listen to him.

I'm not entirely sure about Harry going to fly with the Cannons.
Something about Owen just seems to rub me the wrong way. I just don't trust him.
I would bet that he was the one to tell that story to the press. Because I know that the Weasleys wouldn't have done something like that, neither would Daniel. And I'm sure that Draco wouldn't have, especially as he seems to be trying very hard to be friends with Harry.
Which brings up a question, did Draco decide to be friends/friendly with Harry because he found out that they are related, or some other reason?

As always, I love the story, and can't wait to see the next chapter.

"Ginny was going to shag someone eventually, and he’d be damned if it was anyone else."--Best line ever.

It's sad to see poor Harry depressed--maybe the Cannons, or even possibly Draco might cheer him up? I hope he doesn't screw things up even worse with Ginny now with this new and abrupt plan. I don't think Severus will let him do anything too rash though.

I really liked the flashback at the beginning--Sev and Lily holding hands, so cute! I was also happy to see baby Sirius make an appearance (clearly, I'm easy to please).

Anyways, I hope to read more soon--keep up the pace, EDQ!

Whoo-hoo! I am caught up! This was a great chapter. Harry seems out of sorts, poor guy. But that is too be expected, I suppose.

And crud, newspapers. Augh. Rumors are gonna go flyin'...

Good job! Looking forward to the next chapter!

I'm sorry I missed ch. 8, Tabitha, and I left a review for that one, too.

This chapter was another great one! I always love to see the flashbacks of Severus and Lily, though it's very sad, too, to know that their happiness would be cut so short. It's always bittersweet.

On another note, Draco seems to be very intent on pursuing contact with Harry, and I'm not sure I trust him, or any of the Malfoys, not one little bit. I suppose we'll see what happens at the Quidditch Cup, but I hope Severus and Harry will be careful...very careful.

It sounds like Harry is going to be busy, at least. I hope that practicing with the team will help to cheer him up a bit, and it's good that he does have so many options about what to do. He does still have a year of school, but it is time to begin thinking of what lies beyond, too. And I've always thought that Severus would be happier in a different career than teaching. He seems like he would enjoy, and be very talented at, research and brewing orders for people. He's become a lot more mellow, but he's never really going to be much of an extrovert.

And of course there's trouble with the media...there always is. I'm glad to see that Harry is getting some of his old spirit back, too.

I'm really looking forward to the next chapter!

Was there some hidden message in Severus wanting Harry to stay and help him with inventory instead of going to practice with the Canons? Was it sort of a punishment for his attitude the day before, or was it just that Severus knew Harry didn't really feel up to going. I think I missed something there, or maybe I'm a little slow!

Ooh, I can't wait to see Ginny and Harry "talk". Hee hee !

You know what. I'm actually liking the idea of Harry becoming a Quidditch player!

Oh, I know I'm greedy, but the more you give me the more I want. Please update again quickly. I can't help but want my fix of LC!!!

    Bril as usual Tabitha!! :)

I found these lines to be both sad and a bit funny too:

"He saw Remus exchange glances with his father, but found it difficult to resent. He’d be worried about himself too, if he’d had the energy for it."

    And as for these lines...

"And thanks to all of you are still reading. Hopefully, I can keep up my quick pace. :o)"

... I also really hope you will update again soon :)

Thank you for this chapter. Even though Harry is still troubled and a bit depressed, it was good to have a chapter without a lot of emotional drama and with the nice feeling of Harry and Severus being on good terms again (it was like taking a nice calming breath). Even when the Prophet article appeared at the end I found it to be more humorous than truly angsty (Ginny the vixen!), and I look forward to seeing what Harry will do next chapter. Maybe his father will talk some sense into him and tell him to cool down a little before rushing off to see Ginny.

I also think it's ironic that, in spite of the fact that Ginny and Harry's relationship is strained right now in part because of a worry about furthering intimacies, Ginny is now being portrayed publicly as someone who has no problem freely indulging in said intimacies. I think Harry should be more concerned with how Ginny's now handling this slur against her reputation, than her hypothetical future with some other guy. Sensitivity to her feelings would be really important now, Harry.

Anyway, one last thing - the image of Dumbledore up in his balcony with his nose pointedly buried in a book was really delightful (the sly old eavesdropper!)
