Beautifully done! And though I would like to know whose vial turned red, I really can't guess who he is. The comment about HArry's dark blue eyes doesn't help because 99% of all babies are born with dark blue eyes (including me and my eyes are now golden brown). Hmmm. I wonder if James gathered up the vials before leaving. You know, that leaves things open for a Severitus fic if you were ever inclined. Bravo!
Okay, so I"m leaving another review as well. I think that the only one that has blue eyes out of the bunch is Sirius, is he not? Or does Remus. I dont' think so. Well if he were Severus' son, I dont' think that Harry would have blue eyes, green and black. Hmmm, don't think so.
Don't know. You have driven us crazy November. I think that that was your intention.

Oh that is just evil! Tell us already!
There are two lines in here I really wish I's written.
“Harry does not belong to anyone, Severus,” Oh Lily, I could kiss you! You are the most human about this whole thing.
"You will both be silent and give me your blood!” Way to channel your inner vampire, James! I laughed out loud at that, and freaked out my professor.
I would like to know which one is Harry's dad out of prurient interest. Did you ever decide?
I love James in this fic, Sirius, and Lily and Snape, (Remus was a bit ooc and blaze) and wow, I'm very impressed. I loved it!
Look at me, leaving a second review...I'm still thinking about this though. I drives me nuts that we don't know who did the Oblivate at the end. Sev could have done it just as easily as James--he said he'd protect Harry if he was his, which could mean getting rid of all the Marauders who would stand in the way...
Sigh. This really is going to drive me nuts. I do like it though :D.

Ahh! Omg, that ending makes me crazy! Let me just say that the fic was very well written and suspenseful. I do like that you implied that James didn't really care, that he'd love him anyway...and that bit about Harry's 'blue eyes' does suggest that something was a bit different this time around. It's going to drive me nuts wondering whose it was though. This was a good ending though because of it's open-ended feeling though and for that I commend you.

That was so sweet that James didn't care whose child it was. All he cared about was Harry. Well, I guess that he did deserve to be the father. Being a father is more than about blood.
Very nicely done November. It would be great if you wrote a longer story and revealed that after James and Lily died, whomever the father was. Thinking it was probably Snape.
