Reviews For The Photograph
Author's Response: Ah - but if it it was cannon this website wouldn't exist! I think Snape is a big softy too :))
Author's Response: Thanks! I had to resist the urge to have Snape pop out with adoption papers - :))
well done! Author's Response: Thank you for the review!
I loved how Snape realized that he and Harry had some things in common and felt empathy for him, and I hope it can be the start of a better relationship. Author's Response: Kristeh - let me tell you how much of a turn around this is. I love your fics, and now you're reading mine! So exciting. He would be the perfect vampire - quite easy for a kid to think of him soo. I hope so too Thank you for the review!
I got so happy when Snape gave Harry the picture too. The fic could have gotten really sappy right there, but you kept it in context and I really like what you've done with it. Great job! -P.G. Author's Response: Its my first time writing in quite a while. That was what i was going for (the combination), so thank you. let me tell you, I had strong urges to just let them have a hug fest (the hand on the shoulder was my concession to that desire) but I held back. Majorly Thank you again!
I loved it when you described Snape leaning over Harry's cauldron like a shepherd's crook - it's such an unusual, visual description, plus it's a very Snapish thing to do. So sweet of him to give Harry the photo! And I like the comparison you made between the two of them - how Hogwarts was the only good place and how Snape had transformed from the victim into the bully: so true. Wonderful fic! Author's Response: Thank you! I am maybe, possibly planning a sequel. Thank you again!
Oh, that was so sweet, and I loved the ending. Author's Response: Thank you so much! I just wanted to portray something that /could/ (not really) happen in the middle of second year - a time in the plotiline I feel like has such little opportunity for creating completely different sides of the characters.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! i'll take that as a compliment. |
