You have done such a great job of making the Marauders and Lily and young Snape believable. And this chapter just brought me to tears. I figured that Lily would be smart enough to realize that Snape hadn't lied, and I really liked that it was seeing James with Harry that caused her to start changing her mind about James. At this point, I'm even wondering if Harry and Snape have managed to change anything.

    Author's Response:

Thank you! I did wonder if that last scene with them all was a bit ott, but I am glad you found it believable enough to be emotive! Yes, Lily does seem the type to figure things out, doesn't she? I always think that Harry must have developed his mystery-solving talent from her... As for changes - I could make your head ache by asking whether Harry kept history on the same course by going back in time, because - theorectically - he'd already done it, or if he actually changed its course by going back in time... (Yes, I have read far too many sci-fi novels, and I apologise for the impromptu philosophy session!) Anyway, thanks for reviewing!

I'm so glad Snape saved him.

And it was sweet how he took care of Harry.

I knew Lily would figure it out, she's too smart not to. Loved how james gave Harry his wand. And Harry made the right choice--he belongs in his own time, though it was nice to meet his parents as kids.

Author's Response: Well, I couldn't end the fic without a proper hurt/comfort scene, could I? (Tell you the truth, I tried to resist, but the pretty shine was too much for me!) And have you noticed the numerous number of fics that Harry gets kidnapped by Voldemort and somehow - miraculously! - still has his wand? Well, I'm glad you liked James handing his over anyway - he may be an idiot regarding some people, but I like to think that James does have at least a scrap of inherent decency...

omg this chapter literally had me in tears!
You've done such a good job with this!!

Author's Response: Thank you - I'm glad you liked it. That chapter caught me out when I read it through too - it was the bit when Harry started talking about the cupboard that got me!

OMG, I like how they actually had a returning audience! Very nice work--I'm so glad Snape saved Harry!

Author's Response: I felt they needed it... well... Harry needed it. Hermione and Ron were probably asking Dumbledore if he knew where Harry was for the umpteeth time when *poof* there he was!

Oh that was so beautiful and so sad. Tears pricked my eyes during Harry's conversation with Lily.

I would really love to read more about Harry and Snape after they go back to the future. Sequel maybe? :)

Author's Response: That scene almost had me in tears as well when I read it over (which is strange, as I was the one who wrote it...) Anyway, I'll need to think up a new plot for more Harry and Snape, so maybe... hopefully!

It sounded for a while as if Snape the older wanted to stay in the past.
Btw it was a nice hint with the crucifix lost in 5th year - it wonderfully closes in the time loop.

Author's Response: Hmm... possibly. I'll have to think of it from his POV a while longer to decide fully... Glad you liked the crucifix - I couldn't resist putting that one in!
