Reviews For Changing Perspectives
-P.G. Author's Response: Thanks! He was loads of fun to write - the way you could never tell precisely what real, canon Snape was thinking was part of why I liked his character so much - and I'm really chuffed that you think my rendition of him was 'mysterious' :D Anyway, glad you liked him!
Very nice writing! -P.G. Author's Response: Oh, definitely. I could imagine Snape being on a low boil ever since he caught the Marauders ganging up on his younger self - plus the fact that he hates both James and Sirius with a flaming, purple passion - I daresay James' quick comments were more than enough to push him into being reckless. In other words - thank goodness Harry was around!
Author's Response: I'm glad to hear it!
-P.G. Author's Response: Heh - glad to hear that you liked it this early in! Hope you also enjoyed young Snape when you got to him (he was fun to write).
Author's Response: Thank you - I had hoped I'd got the balance right, but I suppose you never really know until you post! I'm glad you liked the two Snapes, I really enjoyed writing those two.
Also, Severus comes more like 'eye for an eye' out of his actions towards Harry than anything, not until the end, and Harry seems not to notice it (even if we, the readers, know better, heh). But, well, that was an enjoyable piece overall. You can give yourself a solid pat on the back for it *grins* Author's Response: JKR's 'Legilimency-Occlumency' idea always seemed a bit of a convenient plot point to me, so I try to avoid it as much as possible. Of course, if you like it, you could always imagine that Voldy hasn't fully learnt that particular discipline just yet... after all, it does sound a bit complicated and not something you can learn overnight. Oh well, Harry can't be rational all the time, I suppose :D - and he DID more or less figure it out in the end! Anyway, I'm glad you liked it and thanks for reviewing!
Aw, I want more of this. It was great. Author's Response: Heh - oh, all right, I'll ignore my inner critic for once... I'll let Mila know you liked her idea! And, as I said earlier, I AM considering what I might like to write for a sequel (but don't get your hopes up just yet, my muses are terribly fickle). I'm really glad you enjoyed it all - and thanks for all of your reviews!
I would really love to read more about Harry and Snape after they go back to the future. Sequel maybe? :) Author's Response: That scene almost had me in tears as well when I read it over (which is strange, as I was the one who wrote it...) Anyway, I'll need to think up a new plot for more Harry and Snape, so maybe... hopefully!
I love the fact that Snape now has authority over his tormentors, and the food fight was amazing! I don't want this story to end. :) Author's Response: Oh, I'm planning to do something at least... Maybe a couple of scenes in Snape's (and possibly young Snape's) POV could be interesting... It may take a while though as I'm going to finish off my WIPs first. Hopefully. Glad you liked the food fight!
GREAT! Author's Response: Oh, dour Snape was great fun for me to write for a change - he's so much more interesting that the softer and squishier version of him, I think. I'm glad you liked him! And the little plot point with the necklace was something I couldn't resist putting in - I was originally going to do something with the Marauders map, but I think the necklace is better. Anyway, I'm really happy you enjoyed this! |
