It sounded for a while as if Snape the older wanted to stay in the past.
Btw it was a nice hint with the crucifix lost in 5th year - it wonderfully closes in the time loop.

Author's Response: Hmm... possibly. I'll have to think of it from his POV a while longer to decide fully... Glad you liked the crucifix - I couldn't resist putting that one in!

Oh, this is so brilliant, yet so sad. That wasn't nice of Snape to do that, but Harry shouldn't be cohorting with the Marauders; he'll only end up getting himself in trouble and then when they return to the present , his new-found relationship with Snape will be down the drain. Well at least their new-found understanding.

Oh, what the heck do they have planned. I hope Harry doesn't get into too much trouble. Yikes!

Author's Response: Heh heh - the Marauders are certainly trouble personified (moreso than Fred and George if you ask me)! Poor Harry indeed - Snape can be such a nasty idiot sometimes... but at least he has a conscience.

This was a great story. I'm glad I took a chance on it, because I don't normally much care for Time-Travel-to-the-Maurader-Era fics. This was definitely a wonderful exception to the rule. Thanks for sharing it!

Author's Response: Thank you very much :) I'm glad I was able to write a story you liked despite the base of the plot!

Awww, that must be hard for Snape the younger to hear that Lily will be living happily with James and will have Harry together. I am surprised he stays outside with them instead of licking his wounds in private - I mean, the whole his hopes just crumbled, right? On the other hand, maybe young Severus is leaving himself notes or letters, so that he would not forget everything once Dumbledore makes them forget. Mmmm. Possibilities, possibilities. *went to read next* Mila

Author's Response: I know - I just wanted to hug him when I wrote him. Poor Severus indeed... But I think he'd have done anything for Lily before the 'Mudblood' incident.

Wow! This is great! I love that Snape is still snarky, but Harry as learnt to "manage" him. Very Slytherin.

I can't wait to read the next chapter. It must be so hard for Harry to have to be friendly with Pettigrew, knowing what the boy will turn into.

Author's Response: Aw, thank you - I've found that I like writing snarky!Snape just as much (if not more) than slightlysoftie!Snape, so I'm glad you liked him (and Harry's reactions to him!) I daresay Harry's Slytherin side is coming in to play with Pettigrew too...

I hate Dumbledore for thinking that Marauders running rampant is a good joke. Blah. Mila

Author's Response: Ah, but if I'd written him any other way, we wouldn't have had a story... (!) But I totally agree - how it could end in anything other than disaster seems impossible.

It is nearly painful to see Pettigrew like this (and know what will happen in a few years...). Mila

Author's Response: I know - it made me sad writing that bit :(
