Seems hard to think that Harry and Ginny could have had such a selfish and unforgiving child. Perhaps she takes after Percy. sounds like it.

So, one more heartache for Harry and Al to have to live with.

This story is just so sad. But at least I haven't given up on it, even though I don't need the angst in my life.

    Lesley~

    Author's Response:

Lily is rather nasty and unforgiving, but I sort of view it as her way of dealing with the problem.  There's a bit more to her story as well, which will come up fairly soon in the story.  I'm very glad you read this Lesley because you've brought a few things to my attention in your reviews that I hadn't thought about.  Thanks for sticking with it!

This is so sad *lips quivers* I hope Severus will not die in this story. Mila

    Author's Response:

    **My lips are sealed**

    Thanks for reading!

Wow, this is certainly very different! I like your Al already and his confrontation with Lily was very well written and nicely paced. Poor Harry - I'm guessing that he lost James and Ginny a while back and blames himself, and that the person he was trying to talk to was Ron... Everything else is rather ambigious though - I like it! I really hope that Harry and Snape run into each other sometime soon. I'm intrigued about what's going to happen next!

    Author's Response:

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it!  I enjoyed writing the argument between Al and Lily--arguments are one of my favorite things to write, lol.  I'm also glad you like my vague statements because I know they're driving some people nuts; I love reading things like this though and I'm glad you've enjoyed it too.  Snape and Harry will have their meeting fairly soon--stay tuned!  Thanks again for reading!

I'm really enjoying this story. You've left hints everywhere and I just love piecing them together. Can't wait to discover the events behind their circumstances.

    Author's Response:

Hi, thanks for reading!  I'm glad you enjoy this sort of story--I know it's not everyone's cup of tea, but I really love these sorts of mysteries and I'm glad you appreciate it too.  Stayed tuned--there's more to come soon!  Thanks for supporting my writing!

Aww, that's really sad, that the two of them are fighting like this. I'm really wondering what happened now and why Lily is so determined to distance herself from her family like this.

I think her son sounds really adorable. And harry would probably love him.

    Author's Response:

Polaris is a little cutie and I think he'd really be good for Harry.  Thanks again for all of these nice reviews.  Chapter 5 is pretty close to being done, so do expect more soon :D.

    Wow, just wow.

Even in old age, Severus can get to a Potter.

Young Lily seems as unforgiving as her namesake.

    Author's Response:

Thanks for reading!  Hehe, I think Sev is baiting Albus just to see if he's still got it, lol!  I can't say anything about Lily without giving anything away, but I'm really glad you enjoyed the story.  Thanks for supporting my writing.

THis story is a huge tear jerker!
    Please update soon!!
    Poor poor Harry
I think its horrible that lily jr blames him adn wants nothing to do with teh family..!
    Its soo horrible
    you've written a real tragedy

    Author's Response:

I'm sorry I made you so sad--I guess I should have put a tragedy warning up.  As the author of this, I think I've thought about the fic so much that I've kind of become desensitized to the situation.  I'm glad it is turning out emotional though and that you want to read more, even if it is a sad read.  Thanks for your support!

Oh my goodness - I teared up several times in these first chapters!!! Your story is making me think about the true aftermath of the war, not the idealized happily ever after that canon presented (which I enjoyed in its own right, however...)

I am living with my elderly father so I can understand a bit what Albus would be dealing with. I was particularly touched by this last chapter with Lily and the beginnings of the backstory coming out. Magic or no, when families have internal stress the hurt just goes bone deep. Maybe the irascible old death eater (who seems very familiar with potions... hmmmm...) will give some good advice to the Potter men.

I am looking forward to your next update!!!

    Author's Response:

Hey, I'm glad you liked it!  THis story is really sad and I like to write stuff like this because not every story can have a happy ending (not to say whether or not this one will or won't, of course, you'll have to stick around and see about that).  There are a lot of things that need straightened out after the war and I think Harry's family has really suffered from these over the years.  I'm also happy that you enjoyed the back story; a lot of thought has went into it.  Lol, it is a bit hard to keep a secret identity from this crowd (especially when you know two specific characters have to be a part of the fic somehow), but I think you'll be pleased with what happens next.  Thank you so much for reading!

Wow! This story's like a punch to the gut, and I'm so glad it's a WIP because that means there'll be more of it! I'm not usually a fan of first person narration, but I love the way you have the fic from Al's perspective, and the way that even if this weren't posted to Potions and Snitches, I'd know the mystery patient was Snape because he's just that in character. I love this fic and hope I get to see more soon.

    Author's Response:

Thanks Attack!  I'm glad you like Al's perspective; I mulled over that for days because I wasn't sure if I wanted to do it from Al's perspective or Harry's originally.  I'm glad I chose Al though.  He has a very unique perspective in all of this chaos and I like giving him a voice.  I'm also glad you like my Snape; I was hoping he was in character.

    I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Wow! This is confusing right now, but I think that's on purpose. I hope it starts to come together soon, though. The mystery Death Eater is obviously Snape, and the Weasley with the horrible temper tantrum HAS to be Ron. I look forward to reading more!

    Author's Response:

You're right--I have chosen to be vague on purpose here because I don't want to give everything away too fast.  Some readers think this is cruel, but I just love the intrigue of a good mystery and I hope you do too.  I'm really glad you're enjoying it!  Thanks for reading!
