A wonderful ending! I love the demise of Umbridge and the way Snape and Harry ended up. Very believable, very good. And running into the portrait at the end was a perfect touch. Great story!

Author's Response: Thank you, Kim!  I'm so happy you liked it!

Not that I'm complaining - it's a good story, nicely plotted out; short and sweet. However; you indicated in the original discussion with Rowena and Helga that after speaking with Slytherin they needed to speak with Gryffindor as well, then neglected to have them do so.

This is a continuity problem. If you post it elsewhere, you might want to revise those chapters to take out that specification, or write a new chapter to include a conversation with Godric.

Otherwise, it is a very nice quick read.

Author's Response: Thank you!  Yep...that bit about Harry and Severus returning home before speaking with Godric was the plot hole I referred to once on the shout box and wondered who would catch it.  I originally intended to have Salazar return to Hogwarts with Harry and Sev and have Godric be there then.  But I ran out of time while writing it.  I meant to go back and change the earlier chapter, and have Helga and Rowena go to speak with Godric, but I was running late and in a hurry and forgot.  I will go back and change it a bit before posting elsewhere.
