Draco you are a foolish little dragon. Never, ever, underestimate your brother. I am looking forward to his reaction when Philip reveals himself. Of course, knowing you, it will either be dramatic or very, very subtle. How will Severus react to learning about an ancestor that has kept an eye on him? One warning for you man: don't make Philip angry - he bites! ::winks:: Ok, now, I have a question and recommendation for you! Question first: does Severus have an Animagus form? If he does, will he teach his Dragon and Phoenix how to become Animagi too? And my recommendation: Philip is already following Harry around for the boy's protection. God knows the boy needs it! Anyway, what if Philip followed Harry around in his animal form? Think about it. Let me know. I won't throw a hissy fit if you say no. Okay ... forgive me, Kathy, I'm about to get a little nit picky with our favourite vampire. They're very, very little, I promise! You make a reference to Phil's speed equalling almost as close to how fast Smidgen could blink. Don't you think, being a seven-hundred-year-old vampire he could move slightly faster than that? You also made a reference to how he would prefer to fight alongside Sev, Harry and Draco - while this is true, there are a couple of vampires he would also rather have at his side. Please, /PLEASE/ don't be angry with what I've said. It's very, very little and you don't need to change it, I just thought I'd let you know how I feel. I'm known for my pickyness about characters within stories - especially my own. And if you are angry ... don't hurt me too much. Update soon, kay? Your friend? Jewels. Author's Response: Yes, there will come a time when all the Snapes know about Phil, and Severus will be quite astonished. I don;t know about the Animagi just yet, since Harry has a few other powers in this and I think I'd rather save the animal forms for ADA and BW series. That way they're set apart. So i think it's safe to say that in this series, Harry and Severus don't have Animagi forms. But maybe Draco could have one. I don;t know what he should be yet though. As for Phil and Smudgen's speed, Smidgen's blinking is nearly instantaneous, almost as fast as thought, and I didn't thnk a vampire, even a very old one, could match that. Yes, I'm sure he'd rather fight alongside his wife, but he was referring to wizards when he thought of that, wizards and ordinary humans. I'm glad you told me, since I don;t want to mess up your characters. Sorry I'm answering so late, but this weekend was hell, my cousin died and I had a wake and a funeral to go to. Speaking of Phil, glad he's identified the creeps responsible! Smidgeon’s right, that guy sounds like someone you'd never want to cross (meep!). Best of luck to the avenging vampire though! Can't wait for next chapter, and I'm sure Sev and Harry are eager to leave Poppy's clutches ;) Author's Response: It does if you don;t know about good vampires. Oh no, you never want to cross him. He's as bad as Sev in a temper and maybe even worse! They can't WAIT to get out of there!

Author's Response: Yeah i always enjoy it when Poppy bosses Sev around for his own good. And Harry and Sev needed a moment of father-son bonding. Draco will be shocked . . .eventually.
