Ok, I am going to try this /again/.

    Now.

What kind of question is that?

Of course Philip should reveal himself to Albus Dumbledore. It would be extremely interesting to see the man try and manipulate a one-thousand-year-old vampire. It would also create beautiful tension if he and Philip were to have an argument. If he does reveal himself, I think Karkaroff should be there; who better to indimate a Death Eater than a vampire? Besides, how would Moody react to rumors about an infamous vampire circulating around the school?

I greatly enjoyed the girls' reactions to him and Ron's was especially inspiring. The poor kid must be having nightmares!

The history behind the Cup was breathtaking. So well thought-out and it works with the rest of the story. You are an amazing writer Kathy and finding an agent willing to publish your novels shouldn't be too hard. I love how you write and your characters are so unique (except Philip; he's mine). ::winks::

    Please update soon.

    Keep smiling and keep writing!

    Always yours,
    Jewels.

    Author's Response:

I don't think Dumbles could, but he'd try, of course.  And I do plan on having them meet and most likely quarrel over harry and the tournament, as well as some other things.  Karkaroff would be fainting on the floor, LOL! And if Moody knew . . .who knows what he might do. I think it's safer if her didn't, then Phil can surprise him later.

oh yeah, Ron is going to have nightmares all right.

Good because I wanted something different to go on and make the fae have a right to the Cup and what better right than that it belonged to them from the beginning? Thanks for your vote of confidence Jewels! You're awesome!

Oh and to answer your question about Sarai, she'll be in the story during the last part of the tournament and the summer following it, you'll see what I mean when I write it.

Thanks for your input and for letting me borrow Phil.

Wow......absolutely fabulous! Phil should reeal is true nature to Albus to intimidate him into keeping Harry safe.

    Author's Response:

    Thanks Donna!

Phil will do so . . .but I'm not sure when.  I think he might wait to see what Dumbles does first to help Harry and if the wizard doesn't react properly . . .ah then he'll see a Snape's fangs.

amazing chapter and you do do amazing research for all your chapters, you would write a damm good fairy tale book and i would pay to read it, now getting back to the reviewing thing, going back to the last chapter when the beaxbatons arrived i noticed that you named the hoses after the musketeers, love the films.

i'm undecided whether phil should reveal himself, well if he does, it should be with no one else watching, espescially not within eyeshot of moody or within earshot of karkaroff

    Author's Response:

Thanks, and I have written my own original mythology series, based loosley on some Greek myths with twists and also my own original fantasy series. Oh yes, I do too! All for one and one for all!

yes, i agree, revealing himself to the teachers is not the way to go and he wouldn't do that anyway. He's far too savvy.  Albus will eventually know, I think, and Phil will do so in private.

I don't know. But jeez, that one threw me for a loop. Great way to put it, btw. Loved the chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks! Glad you liked and hope you like the next one I'm planning.

Yes, I think that Phil should reveal himself to Albus, but not necessarily right away. I'm so glad that Severus realised immediately that Harry had nothing to do with putting his name into the Cup.

I liked the story of the how the Cup was lost to the Fae; it was well told. And I also liked Katie and Hermione's reaction to Phil--as well as the boys' reaction to their reaction. And Poor Ron! That was a breat scene.

    Bravo! And keep on writing!

    Author's Response:

I agree and that's how I think I'm going to do it.  If Phil is revealed, he won't be able to protect Harry all that well and he needs to.  Sev isn't stupid, he knew that Harry couldn't do it because of the Age Line and the fact that he was with his family all that week.

Oh good, I was concerned it was boring, but I guess not.  Yeah, Phil is very sexy, LOL! Poor Ron, he was really scared!

    Thanks and I shall!

Oh wow! That WAS a long one. Poor Harry. He must have wanted to die when Sev reamed him out in front of Katie! Yikes, how embarrassing!

Oh oh! Now Hermione and Ron both know about Phil! Hope they don't let the cat out of the bag!

Oh no, Harry has to compete? Can Severus stop it, or is Harry obligated to compete?
Can't wait for the next chappie!

    Author's Response:

He did, poor kid, but then again, he kind of deserved it for mocking his dad that way.  And at least Sev didn't give him detention or ground him like he could have.  What did you think of that part with him bopping Harry over the head with the composition book? I was inspired by that scene in GOF the movie for that one.  :)

Yes and I don;t think they'd dare breathe a word about him . . .Ron's still scared of being bitten and Hermione is discreet.

um . . .he can't because remember the Goblet is a magically binding contract and once a name is placed in it, the witch or wizard is bound to compete, no matter what.

Oh and YOU were the first reviewer last chapter and so you are now my Seeker, congratulations on catching the Snitch!!

To answer your question I think that Phil SHOULD reveal himself to Albus, i'd like to read about him being speechless! :p

(I liked the glare that severus gave Albus at the end)

    Author's Response:

If anyone can make Albus speechless, it's Phil!

Yeah, Severus is about to go ballistic and if I were there, I'd be under a table praying for divine intervention.  He is NOT a happy camper.

And neither are Phil and Smidgen.
