Oh oh! Now Hermione and Ron both know about Phil! Hope they don't let the cat out of the bag! Oh no, Harry has to compete? Can Severus stop it, or is Harry obligated to compete? Can't wait for the next chappie! Author's Response: He did, poor kid, but then again, he kind of deserved it for mocking his dad that way. And at least Sev didn't give him detention or ground him like he could have. What did you think of that part with him bopping Harry over the head with the composition book? I was inspired by that scene in GOF the movie for that one. :) Yes and I don;t think they'd dare breathe a word about him . . .Ron's still scared of being bitten and Hermione is discreet. um . . .he can't because remember the Goblet is a magically binding contract and once a name is placed in it, the witch or wizard is bound to compete, no matter what. (I liked the glare that severus gave Albus at the end) Author's Response: If anyone can make Albus speechless, it's Phil! Yeah, Severus is about to go ballistic and if I were there, I'd be under a table praying for divine intervention. He is NOT a happy camper. And neither are Phil and Smidgen.
The idea of naming the horses after the 3 musketeers was very creative! However, Pansy's punishment was a bit overdone (thats only my opinion). I am starting to read the next chapter! Great Story! Author's Response: I always wondered what it would be like to kiss while flying. I loved it in Superman when Lois and Clark kissed like that. I wanted to think of something that was familiar and yet different and since the Musketeers were French and I really like them, it just seemed to go together. Ah, well, I asked my nephews who are 17 and 21 what they would have done if a girl nearly castrated them and they were screaming for blood. They said that spell was the equivalent of rape to a girl and I guess that would be true if you're a guy. Which was why the men were so furious. And they didn't expel her, even though they could have.

The arrivals were less formal than in canon, but they were more interesting, really. Love the gillyweed and the names of the Abraxans. Author's Response: yeah and that one was inspired by something a friend suggested. I'm lucky I have friends with really good ideas, LOL! Good I wanted them to be different and yet sort of the same if that makes any sense. And now you can read about what happens next.
