Author's Response: Tidbit is right, it's a Parchment Underground hors d'oeuvre! I was trying to show how James had been forced to view Snape as a protector, and therefore explain a little bit about why he treats Snape the way he does, especially in later stories. Not sure I did that particularly well.
Please I want more. I really want to see more of an older Harry and Snape. I'm looking forward to seeing how they three can build a relationship while knowing that Harry is really James. I hope that Snape can continue to be a father to Harry and that James can play a role too. This little drabble intrigued me though. Curious, very curious! Author's Response: The voice from the earring is Snape's. Whenever Snape wants James to come, he says James' full name, and James hears it in the earring right before the portkey in the earring activates and takes him to wherever Snape is.
After this, the rest of the stories are all sequels to Blurring, so the rest is all older Harry and the rest building that relationship and dealing with the rest of their problems. *grin* I hope you like. |
