Aw this chapter reminded me of France... And now I desperately want a croissant with cream cheese and ham... Which is seriously what I ate every morning for breakfast when I was there. Ah. As always... Fabulous chapter!

That was wonderful, Snape is a great caregiver. I remember I had chickenpox around Christmas and one of my grandparents' friends dressed as Santa and came to see me. Shocked not only me but them as well. Later I lived with my step-mum and when I got sick I was mostly ignored by the baby sitter or whomever, that sucked, but I never liked them much so I didn't mind staying in the basement too much.

What a great chapter1 I loved how Sev took care of sick Harry and made him well. The dinner sounded amazing, now I'm hungry for some!

Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm hungry too!

Poor Harry--I felt bad when he had the high fever and was remembering being tormented by Dudley and his uncle and aunt. Great chapter!

Author's Response: yeah that part was really sad.  I'm glad you like this and just wait till you see what happens now.

I tell you, Kathy, I can't get enough of Warrior and Freedom. I love the interaction between the two; it really seems like they're more than just mentor and apprentice. Hedwig is also enjoyable to read - she has a personality unto herself! I love reading the three of them together; although, Warrior is a bit of an idiot... Come on, Hedwig, sing the man a lullaby! Be brave, girl!

Harry getting sick simply added a touch of class to the chapter. A story would not be complete without a character getting sick; it's easy to relate too as well (I should know, I've been sick a LOT this year).

Your idea for Lucius sounds intriguing. You don't need to ask me what I think - though I'm greatly honored that you value my opinion in such a way. The idea simply sends chills down my spine; an evil aristrocratic villain is one thing but your spin... I can't wait!

I am eagerly awaiting the next chapter, my dear; it is going to be brilliant! And better yet - no one'll be expecting it! ::laughs evilly::

Don't forget to update Return to Prince Manor! I love my Philip a little too much to wait much longer. . . ::winks::

    Lots of hugs from
    Jewels.

    Author's Response:

They are, they're more like father and son, with Hedwig filling in occasionally as a mother/familiar role.  Hedwig might eventually get up enough confidence to sing Sev a lullaby, when he's sick or something, LOL.

Yes, Lucius is very creepy and he'll be even creepier still in the next chapter.

Of course I value your opinion, Jewels. You are honest and give me good ideas to use.

I'll be updating PM next, so don;t fret too much!

    *hugs back*

I love the nick names you come up with =)
Master Grim and Stoic. Poor Harry getting sick T_T. Also the last part when Sev wouldn't tell what it was, I was guessing snails lol! Ah Sea Snails aren't bad, though I don't ever want to eat a garden snail ewww. lol

    Author's Response:

Aren't they funny? I liked them very much! I think that one suits Severus.

Yes, snails are a delicacy in France and also in Italy.

Hope you enjoy the next update I just posted.

Escargot eh? Harry seemed to enjoy them, but I’m a squeamish girl so no thanks ;)

Anywho, this chapter had some cute and funny scenes! I loved it when they were all huddled during the storm; Hedwig reminded me of a mother hen, hehe. Poor Harry had some bad dreams/memories though. Vernon really should boil in his own fat, lol!

Next chapter sounds like it'll be interesting. Two angry deatheaters out for blood and revenge... not a friendly combination. I’ll check out RPM’s update asap!

    Author's Response:

Yeah, most people don't like snails.

I agree about Vernon, but we all know he's suffering under that spell, right?

No, and there's more than just Bella and Lucius at the meeting, as you'll see.

I loved the conversation on the cliff, my husband is a teacher and he would agree with you 100% about Sev's comments about being overworked and underpaid. Definitely true! Teaching is not a career for those who wish to get rich.

I loved Hedwig's lullaby too and Severus did a great job in taking care of Harry when he was sick.

    The escargot line was hilarious!

    Author's Response:

Yes and I agree too, since I used to be a teacher and the pay really was not enough.

Maybe someday hedwig will sing Severus a lullaby.  LOL!

Glad you're enjoying this so much and I have posted again, just so you know.
