Reviews For Cherokee Camp
Author's Response: Thanks.
I just had a little bit of free-time and re-read your story. I simply love it and I think that it is my fav of all your writings. I thought I'd just randomly tell you this to give your ego a little boost :-))) Author's Response: Yes, I'm always in need for a little boost for my ego. This story gets very different feedback. Some people really like it and some find it horrible. I'm glad that there are people like you and I wish I could update it more often, but my beta is very busy. I'm working on a solution for this problem at the moment. Thank you very much for your review!
I like how Light Arrow got Severus to talk by 'roasting them to death'. I'm curious, when did Snape get a chance to cut himself after they arrived at the camp? They've only been there one day, and I can't recall a time he was ever really alone. I'm waiting eagerly for the next chapter! Amazing story! Author's Response: You will find out when he did it in the next chapter! Thank you very much for your review!
While Snape seems to be acting out of character, you give him good reason for it. I love the relationship he has with the family as well as Harry and Draco. I hope there more Harry/Draco and Severus father/son moments in the future. I'm confused about one thing however, who is Rose married to? At first I thought it was Red Horse, but later on I read something that made me think it was Crying Horse. Could you clear that up for me? Anyway, excellent story and I hope to read more soon! Author's Response: I'm also glad you gave it a try. :) Rose is married to Crying Horse. I will check if I made a mistake in one chapter. Thank you for your review!
I'm sorry to hear that your stay in hospital was painfull. I hope you'll recover fast. Author's Response: Thank you for your review!
Author's Response: It's normal that people have relapses. The quality of the program can't be judged by it. Too many factors influence a relapse. As for the joining the Death Eaters: You can grow up in a very loved and safe childhood but when you meet the wrong friends you still can fall for the darkness. I have several people in my head were this happened. For example they started to become criminal or consumated drugs because of the bad influence of frineds. So I don't make the camp responsible for it. People that had experienced very drastric things in there life or have been abused over several years will never forget it, no matter who good a program is. Their experiences will influence their actions and emotions the whole life. The question is just how much. If Severus wouldn't believe that the camp helped him, he wouldn't have brought Draco and Harry there. It is important to have a place were you feel loved and safe, even after a relapse. Thanks for your review! Sunny
