Reviews For Cherokee Camp
Author's Response: I'm very glad you like it that much. Thank you for your review!
Update soon, please, I want to read about them getting better :) Mila Author's Response: Thank you very much for your review!
The gross imagery of the suffering, Harry and Draco's, may set back from the story, since [I'm] keen to avoid any such descriptions altogether. Draco's letter was a bit out of place - men, boys included, do not relate their 'feelings' in such terms. If they're cold, they would tell you in round-about terms that "you should buy a winter-coat, it's freezing" and the like. Otherwise, it's a hundred percent true. Very disturbing, actually, and if it weren't for [my] belief in the fact that you''ll stay true to the [happy] ending of your other stories, I wouldn't probably be reading this. However, your thorough understanding of the victims of violence, of any kind, is what makes this story full of heart-breaking moments, yet full of hope and the promise of recuperation. Nine frogs! Thank you! Author's Response: You may be right that boys normally aren't that open to speak about their emotions, but Draco had several therapy sessions after the events in the dungeons (it was mentioned in one of this first chapters). Even boys learn while therapy that it is important to open up to a few special persons. :) I'm glad you still like the story. Thank you for your review!
Nice chapter as usual. I love how you put the horses in this story. Author's Response: You will learn more about Severus' thoughts in the next chapters! The whole story is about Harry realizing that there is more than hate and revenge. Thank you very much for your review!
I think that taking care and bonding with an animal is very therapeutic. What a wonderful opportunity for the boys to learn to trust, even if it isn't with a human at first. I'm continuing to be impressed with the originality of this story. ;) Author's Response: For me it was so normal to write the part with the curd and I was a little shocked that you can't buy it so easily in the US. What are you baking with? I always was interested in animal therapy. For abused kids it is easier to trust an animal than a human. I'm glad I can impress you with my story. Thanks for all your wonderful reviews!
Author's Response: My beta told me about Aloe vera. It's also used for sunburns. It's interesting how many differnet cures we have.
This was a lovely chapter. Glad that Draco found the courage to overcome his fears, to some degree at least. Little changes can spark bigger things, so I hope that Draco's on the right path to live to the fullest again. And Harry... he's pretty messed up, what with all the revenge, huh? And, yeah, physical exercise, even if it is just wood-chopping, can be a great release for any kind of frustration. Very realistic, that. Author's Response: Thanks for posting a review here as well. Yes, Harry is very messed up. You will find out more soon.

Anyhow. this is definitely a 'yay you updated' review with nothing useful to say. Author's Response: I can let him say Tohi instead. Thank you for your review!
