Reviews For Taking Umbridge
Author's Response: An update might just be in the cards pretty soon. :o) Thanks for reviewing!
second, there are a couple of mistakes i noticed while reading. At the end of the first chapter the person who walks into the bathroom says "Mr. Potter" but in this chapter Snape only says "Potter." Also when Snape reaches for Harrys hand and notices the three marks he mentions that its Harry's left hand, his non writing hand. But Umbridge first told him to hold out his right hand and when he hesitated he got an extra hit for 3 total. His left hand only got 2 hits. Snape would have to be reaching for his right hand if he noticed 3 burns. IN anycase great work! thanks so much! Author's Response: *grumbles* That's why I prefer to post on ff.net first, then wait about a week to post here, because then when I make changes I don't have to worry about updating two sites. Originally the hands and names were reversed, and when I changed it over there I forgot to update P&S, so the next chapter didn't fit. I posted this chapter on both simultaneously, which is why that happened. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Darn right it was long! Sheesh! At first I was struggling and thought I'd be lucky to get 3,400 words . . . and then I don't know what happened. :o) Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: I figure he was definitely into chemistry . . . I could see Snape as that kid who makes bombs in his basement while the parents remain blissfully unaware. Thanks for the review!
Author's Response: Glad you liked it, and thanks for reviewing!
I love how Severus felt guilty about not protecting Harry enough. That was so sweet and unexpected. Harry is lucky to have a protector like Severus on his side. Author's Response: Thanks for the compliments! I never in my life expected anyone to even hint that I might be good at science. Not with a straight face, anyway. :o) I was okay with stuff that interested me, but once those three things had been taught, I was kind of lost. Still, think about it. According to the Heisenberg theory, observing a phenomenon changes it. Well, how do you know? You can't tell what would happen if you don't watch something unless you watch it! Grrr . . . Anyway, I'm not even certain Snape would feel sorry for Harry in canon, even if Umbridge caned him, but it seems to work. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Me, too. :o) I have a pretty good idea of the general outline, but sometimes I'm just as surprised as you guys. Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: I'm working on it as we . . . er, speak! :o)
I think I'm feeling pain in my arm by just reading it lol. Can't wait to see what Snape says :) Author's Response: Thanks! Umbridge is surprisingly easy to write . . . maybe I'm more like her than I thought? Hmmm . . .
Author's Response: I kind of felt bad for Harry, too, |
