Yay for attacking Snape! I love when Harry stands up for himself.

    Author's Response:

Thanks! My thinking throughout this fic is that he's at an age where there is a lot of defiance pent up inside him, even if the way his uncle treated him has made him vulnerable and scared.

I hope you continue to read on. In a few chapters you'll get to the scene that kind of prompted me to write this fic. It's basically my take on Harry smashing up Dumbledore's office ... only this time it's Snape's house.

So many lovely chapters to catch up on! This one was really great, I loved how the punishment was flying! And Harry had been so worried. Snape is very in character, I hate it when people make him soft really quickly. Harry is perfect too, his misinterpretations and misgivings of Snape's intentions; beautifully done.

    Author's Response:

Thank you so much for all your reviews! It really encourages me to keep writing:)

Yes I'm going to try and keep  Snape from getting soft at any point in the story if I can avoid it. He'll always be capable of acting like a complete git in my eyes, although he has some crucial redeeming qualities.

Aw, this chapter warmed the cockles of my heart. Snape softened a little towards Harry, fed him AND let him go flying! And all in the guise of a punishment. Too cute.

This is so well written, and I'm really looking forward to your next chappie! Which I hope will be really soon!

    Author's Response:

    Thank you!

Yes for Snape going to get an extra blanket and giving Harry some hot chocolate in the night were quite big steps. The flying thing was almost an apology which Snape wouldn't actually come out and say...I think his actions rather than what he says tell you the most about Snape. Mind you Harry won't be able to trust him for a while yet!

I enjoyed these chapters, Severus seems to be starting to see Harry more clearly.

Author's Response: Yes and it's about time too! The occlumency might actually be a bit more sucessful soon as they begin to work together more :) Thanks for taking the time to review.

    Hi,
Loving your story so far! I like how Snape seems so much in character, and how (even when the chapter is not in his point of view) it is expressed in his vocabulary when interpreting Harry's actions. Letting Harry go flying is a very good way of diffusing the situation on his part, I did not expect it of him. He just couldn't resist that final remark though, coul he.. He must seem very unpredictable to Harry if he'll run hot and cold in the coming chapters, I'm curious how you'll deal with that next. Harry actually begging him seems very sad, especially because it is a result of him not having anyone to turn to at all for help. Hope you update soon of course :-)

    Author's Response:

Hey thank you for your review:) Yes Snape is beginning to realise just how genuinely terrified Harry is of returning to the Dursleys. He is also beginning to feel slightly guilty about the whole thing. He needs to hurry up and tell Harry he wouldn't actually send him back there and that it was just a threat!:)
