Brilliant chapter, I truly believe they get better each time and I didn't think that was possible after the very first chapter. I am thoroughly enjoying this fic, great work!

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you liked it. The new chapter is now up :)

I'm glad that Severus finally believes that Harry is actually seeing something. I do hope that they will be able to get to the bottom of it soon.

    Author's Response:

Things should definately become a lot clearer soon. I think poor Harry has definately waited long enough to know what's going on! :)

Great story! Is Malfoy going to realise Snape isn't pretending? The crow is really interesting. I thought Dumbledore's thoughts at the meeting (sev chapters back) were fun and true to his character, though I thought Snape was being a bit childish. Interesting that you made him like that when he is trying to get Harry to grow up. Will you get Harry to teach Sev that revenge isn't the way forward?

    Author's Response:

He might do which could be potentially diastrous for Snape... atm though he is still pretty convinced that there is no way his Godfather could feel anything but revulsion to Potter. Draco's hardly stupid though so we'll have to see if he starts to figure things out.

Ah yes possibly a bit childish but Snape was just toying with Moody. There's no way he is going to foget what happened and let things rest...

Well they certainly have pretty opposite stances on revenge. Have to see what happens!

    Cheers for reviewing :)

"It was one thing for your team to lose when you didn’t play but if they went on to win without you- that had to really hurt."

What the hell! Snape is really daft when it comes to understand some things. For instance that it might be important for some people to be with their team/ group especially when loosing or failing.
I daresay there will be quite a few occasions where the two of them won't be able to understand each other easily or even at all.

However the story is well done and this chapter is no exception. Thank you for keeping the differences in their personalities alive and vivid. Keep going like this and update soon please.

    Author's Response:

Well as far as Snape is concerned I think he's gauging pretty accurately how his Godson is feeling. For some people personal triumph and desire to prove themselves will always win out. (Incidentally in RL I know someone who went for a job interview in a sales role and was asked something similar: in sports would they rather play terribly but their team win or play amazingly as an individual but lose overall. They said the second anticipating that was what the interviewer wanted to hear and got the job. Strange huh?) Now if Harry and Draco's positions were reversed...

    Thank for reviewing.

Very enjoyable ride so far -- I hope that you find the time to keep writing. I like the deepening mystery around Harry and Sirius. The interactions you have between Snape and Harry are growing in emotional depth as their relationship changes and matures. I'd definitely like to read more!

Author's Response: Thank you! Yes they have some sort of understanding atm even if it does involve a lot of bickering!

I thought that I'd reviewed this already (scratches head) Great chapter. I love interaction between Snape and Harry. I'm so glad that you keep Harry and Snape in character. I hate when Snape becomes mush in fanfics.

    Author's Response:

Ah... somehow I managed to post the same chapter twice so I deleted one - perhaps that is why?

Thank you. I will try to keep Snape in character throughout this fic and never let him get too mushy but please warn me if he does become that way at any point! :)

    Cheers for reviewing again
