Is the bird he's seeing himself getting read to be that as an animagus? I remember he was practicing it with Sirius at the start of the summer...

Aw, I'm so glad that Sev and Harry seem to be working things out, although I wish that more of the truth would be told on both sides; I'm afraid it will all back fire on them both.

Author's Response: It's nearing the end- maybe 50k more words but I also plan on writing an epilogue... so it's a bit up in air. Glad you're enjoying it so far :)
