Another enjoyable story! This had to be the first time I read about Crookshanks as an actual character. I thought his story was really unique and I liked how you used his character to clean up some plot holes in the original canon storyline.
Once again your characters were good. Looks like there is going to be a Draco/Luna pairing? Honestly, I was secretly hoping for Draco/Hermione. :) Oh well, we'll see!
Also, again, I'm glad you didn't rehash canon. Your story was original enough where it stayed interesting. I'm looking forward to reading the next installment. Thanks for writing!
What i really loved from the Vows II was the friendship between Paddy and Crooks! They were just soooo adorable together! Another great improvisation on the story as well. Even though i was a bit frowny at Narcissa since i think that her reason for neglecting Draco was a bit unreasonable. Any i loved to see that the bond between Severus and Harry was getting stronger.

I've a;ways wondered whar crooks was thinking, I really enjoy the way you include details from the book into your story, and crookshanks' story is very compelling, even if it is sad
I recently found your stories, and have read through them all at once - barely able to pry myself from the screen. I am commenting at the end rather than each chapter, but I want to complement you on the great quality of the whole story. Thank you for writing and sharing this. It's an excellent story - well thought out, well written, and well edited. Your characters are well developed and believable. The situations are realistic for the setting and neither overblown nor glossed over.
Getting rid of the time turner and having more students involved worked out really well for this scenario. With Harry having a concerned parent on-hand, Dumbledore's encouraging the students to use a time-turner to go back and fix things didn't really fit.
The animals were fun, especially the battles between Crookshanks and Scabbers.
Harry's patronus was great, and his dealing with the false dementors during the Quidditch game was fun. (Just an editing/continuity point, I noticed that the number of false dementor students changed from 4 to three at one point in chapter thirteen.)
