Wonderful chapter, Pandora! I loved every word of it. You're doing such a great job, I think you've always been a gifted writer but the more I read and the further along your stories go, the more your talent grows with them.

You portray the characters so realistically, they are so true and in-character. You show such depth with their emotions and thoughts. And your descriptions are vivid and interesting. Just the ordinary things, like the shopping trip, you keep it interesting and fun to read.

I really enjoyed seeing Severus and Harry together in the shop, seeing Harry realize what potions mean to Severus and begin to see how gifted he is, how Severus tried to warn Harry without going into details. I love how you had Severus feel a pang when he realized that Harry possibly could have been talented at potions, if only Severus had not turned him from it so completely. I loved how even little things like lunch and ice cream mean a lot to Harry and he doesn't take it for granted.

It was fun to see a little of the Weasleys, especially Fred and George. I haven't read the canon books in so long, that sometimes I forget how much I enjoyed them, how they could always lighten the mood and bring a smile to my face.

Severus' emotions towards Harry are slowly changing, but he isn't going to give in easily, is he? Stubborn man...sometimes I want to shake him.

    Lola...whew, what can I say?

And I can just imagine the looks on the faces when they learned that only Harry, Severus, and Sirius together can access the vault! Quite the dilemma indeed.

I can't wait for the next chapter!

    Author's Response:

Oh thank you Kristeh. You always leave such lovely reviews, and I'm honoured that you say all these nice things because you are a wonderful, very talented writer, and your opinion means a lot to me.

I think that Severus is very torn right now. He's trying to hold on to past grudges, but it's getting more difficult as he's forced to re-evaluate his opinions. Having seen first hand, that Harry is not the spoilt or arrogant child that he thought that he was, is making him very uncomfortable. Severus really doesn't know how to handle these feelings of concern or even pride, so he over-compensates by being too harsh at times.

Yeah, I just had to put Fred and George in there. I plan on having a lot of them in the story. And the Weasleys too. I just love them.

I'm actually getting excited myself at writing the scene where Sirius and Snape are thrown together. I can't wait, but I'll have to, and unfortunately, I hope my readers won't toast me for making them wait too!

Thanks Kristeh, and I'm just dying for the next chappie of Slave Child!!!
