Reviews For Sparks Will Fly
Author's Response: Thanks so much,
Author's Response: Oh, thanks so much! I'll try to update soon.
I liked how you got them all to the Shrieking Shack and established Sirius' innocence. It's nice to see that Severus accepted it. I also liked that when Severus was reprimanding Harry for being reckless in the hospital wing, that Sirius didn't automatically bristle just because it was Severus. He was more gentle with Harry but acknowledged that it was too dangerous for Harry. And then that Severus felt a pang at the thought of losing Harry...too sweet. Now we just need to see what's in the will! Hope you can update again soon! Author's Response: Aw thanks Kristeh. I wanted to show that had Sirius been given the chance, that he would do what was best for Harry, and that maybe there is hope that Sirius and Severus one day, will be able to put their differences aside for Harry's sake.
Yeah, the will!! LOL! Hee hee. Have to wait and see. (Evil cackle)
Author's Response: Thank you. I do.
Author's Response: Sorry, I really didn't mean to do that...this time! I'll try to update quickly.
Hope you're feeling better and RL becomes less hectic. Thank you for the update, you're forgiven for the long wait:P, and please update soon! Author's Response: Thanks so much, and I will endeavour to update more quickly. As long as my muses cooperate, that is.
Author's Response: Thanks so much. There is a reason that Lupin seems different. Not sure if you've gotten to that point. Thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Thanks. I love a snarky Snape too.
I'm sorry that I've been so slow with updates. I will try to do better. I wrote a fest fic too, so that also took time away from updating this story, and also some computer problems.
Author's Response: Thanks so much.
It is a jolt to Harry to have a guardian who is actively involved in his life because he's never had that before, and as he's finding, it may not always be pleasant. But still the great advantages of having someone who actually cares far outweigh the disadvantages, and I think Harry will realize that too. It may be a little harder because it is Severus who has custody now, and the two of them do have a bad history, but even Harry has admitted to himself that he has been better cared for than he ever was with the Dursleys and Severus' feelings have changed so I think that things will work out for them in the long run. I do feel sorry for Harry. He is denied so much that other kids can enjoy and take for granted, but he does need to understand that this is not just a case of people being unfair to him, his safety really is in question...though the danger is not in the direction that people think. But it is hard for Harry to always be singled out and denied things, so I wonder, if by the time the next Hogsmeade weekend comes about, if perhaps Severus could think of a plan to let Harry go, but close supervision? Anyway, I loved the chapter and can't wait for the next one, and for UF too! Author's Response: Oh, thanks Kristeh. It is always hard to weave Canon into a fanfic, but I'm glad that you think that it wasn't too awkward.
Yeah, it's tough for Harry to have Snape as a guardian, especially because Snape is so strict and doesn't show emotion, but actions speak louder than words for Harry, and although he's perhaps rebelling a little against Snape's authority, and he's still very young--only thirteen, Harry will realise down the road that Snape is only try to protect him Yeah, it is tough for Harry to always receive special treatment, and not all of it good.
I think that when the time comes for the next Hogsmeade weekend, comes, the scenario is going to be a little different. (Chuckle, chuckle)
Thanks Kristeh, and I'm just dying for a new chappie of Slave Child too. (hint hint)
