Reviews For Sparks Will Fly
Poor Snape, feeling all conflicted. And Harry was adorable trying to manage to say thank you to him before he went to bed. HAHA! Fred and George with the badge! I love those two. Well, this is interesting. This idea with the will is getting more and more interesting with each chapter. I am so intrigued. Sorry I somehow missed this chapter...*reads the next one* Author's Response: Hee hee. Snape would not want children any more hyper than necessary, now would he? Thanks. I'm just really enjoying writing Ron. Oh, some of the dialogue was taken from POA, and I just elaborated on it, so the idea of the badge was JK's, not mine. But I didn have fun playing around with Ron's reactions.
There are more suprises with the will to come.
Don't worry about it. You read it now! :) Thanks for reviewing.
So, DD will enter the fray soon? Cool! Lesley~ Author's Response: Yeah, Harry is not a happy campter. His third year is going to shake his world, but then again, maybe he'll end up having more than he bargained for. Harry is still very young in this, so of course he is not going to react well; not well at all. But then again...Snape has been softening up a bit towards him--but that may not be enough.
Yeah Dumbles will be on the job soon.
Oh, and Lesley...I wrote a little Halloween story that was inspired by your little Bonnie, and is dedicated to YOU!!!
Anyway, hooray for Dumbledore maybe being able to change the conditions of the inheritance? I hope Sev and Harry find out the truth soon! Nice work--I hope to read more soon! -P.G. Author's Response: Well, I'll tell you that if I wasn't planning on that, I just might now!!! It is a really cool idea. You are brilliant, my girl. Well...I'm not sure that even Dumbledore can work magic here, but perhaps Dumbles can find a loophole to this, or find another solution!!
Thanks PG!!
I always enjoy seeing Harry with Ron and Hermione and their interactions. Despite all of Harry's troubles, he is blessed to have such loyal and loving friends. And it's good to see Remus being introduced too. That scene with the dementor still gives me chills. They truly are awful creatures, the stuff of nightmares. I love seeing the little clues as to how Severus is slowly changing towards Harry, how he wouldn't let Draco bully him and took care of him once they were at Hogwarts. If you include the scene where Draco dresses up as a dementor to attempt to make Harry fall off his broom, I wonder how your Severus would react to that. I can't imagine him taking it lightly! And now they're bringing Dumbledore into the mystery with the box and the vault and the will. If anyone can solve it, he can! Awesome job again! Author's Response: Thank you Kristeh. Oh, yes M'am! I wouldn't dare stop writing, otherwise you might box my ears! How about you? I'm anxiously awaiting a chappie for you too young lady! I'm dying to read more of Slave Child.
I love Harry and Ron with Harry too. They really do care about him. Aw, I love Remus too, and I'm looking forward to writing him. I know...those Dementors are horrible, horrible creatures. I always got the chills when I saw them in the movies, and read about them in JK's books too.
Severus is starting to feel differently about Harry, but he won't come right out and say it, and Draco was a little shocked when Severus, although not coming right out and reprimanding Draco, or God forbid take points from Slytherin, did stop Draco from continuing to taunt Harry openly. Yeah, it should be interesting when we come to that scene. It would be fun to write too! I'm not sure though that Dumbledore can really do much, but yeah, if anyone can...he's the one, for sure.
Thanks Kirsteh, and please write as soon as you can. I know that you are having computer problems so I understand if it is difficult for you to write, but I'm having withdrawls!
Author's Response: Oh thank you. There were some very subtle clues at the beginning of the story, but you'd have to have really looked for them. Thank you so much, I appreciate your kind words.
Is there evidence there to prove Sirius' freedom? I must admit, your writing about the black dog is quite excellent. It freaks me out every time it makes an appearance in this fic. Nice work and I look forward to more. -P.G. Author's Response: Yeah, sucks doesn't it? But I couldn't make it easy, could I? LOL! Yeah, Severus might just figure it out, but he'd never admit it, and the changes are sublte still...so maybe he'll just ignore the signs, or chalk it up to hormones or something. Aw, poor Sirius. There isn't evidence right now, and few believe his innocence, if any, but there are a few surprises to come. Oh thanks,...poor Sirius!!! If he knew that he was scarey, he probably wouldn't be too happy with me!
Thanks PG. I hope to read some more from you very soon too.
Here, I'm givng out chocolate frogs today. I'm really craving chocolate these past few days....
Author's Response: Thank you. I'm trying to add little things like that, so that I, and my readers can picture the scene in their mind. I wasn't sure if I was accomplishing that!
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! I appreciate your kind words.
Fudge was perfectly in character...not one trace of his cheerful, harmless persona here...he was as mean and nasty as we found he could get when things weren't going his way. Pompous little git! Just as well his head auror had more than sawdust in his head. Loved Harry and Snape interaction, though I am hanging out for the first time that Sev calls Harry anything but Potter, or Mr Potter. I can imagine his screwed up face when the word Harry passes his lips, but it is always difficult making that first plunge. Percy was as big a prat as the minister...no wonder he worshipped him so much. Ron and Hermione were perfectly in character and even 'little' Ginny was snuck in there with her adoring glances. Although, if I remember correctly from canon, Ginny was almost too embarrassed to look at Harry because of his having had to rescue her from the chamber just a couple of months beforehand. So, I wonder if Severus is going to actually begin to wonder whether Harry can be his son (I presume he and Lily must have done the deed, or was their magic at work, perhaps along the lines of ASD) before the will is read and the box opened? Can't wait for more. Great job, once again, Dawn. Lesley~ Author's Response: Don't worry Lesley, I'm not going to follow Canon to the letter. I'm just trying to at least keep to it loosely. My events will occur faster than in the book or movie. Fudge IS a pompous git! Thank goodness that John has more brains, because Fudge would have really burnt all his bridges. Well, Snape will eventually call Harry "Harry", but I didn't want to do it too fast because it's only been three weeks, and even though Snape is seeing Harry in a different light because of the abuse, I don't think that he's quite ready to completely let go of his grudge against James. I'm actually looking forward to having Snape call Harry for the first time, and yes, he'll say it like he's sucking on a sour lemon. Percy is a pompous ass just like Fudge. Oh thanks, Since I've got Ron acting like a prat in my other story, I thought that I'd have him be "good old Ron in this story! Yeah, Ginny is very shy but still adores Harry. There is that burdgeoning young love happening here. Too bad Harry is too young to see it for what it will eventually be; the love of his life. Severus might regress a bit once school starts unfortunately. No, Severus and Lily were naughty!! But this was before James and Lily were an item, so she never cheated on James. She'd never do that.
Thanks Lesley, I;m really anxiously awaiting updates for your lovely stories. Any one will do. I love them all. Muggle, Finding Ginny and ASD!!! I'm on pins and needles, because you naughty girl have left us with a cliffie in all of them!
Sounds like it'll be a while before that vault can be opened! Author's Response: Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy.
Ooops...better change it. Yeah, it might be a while before the vault is opened. Hope you can hang on a bit. |
