Reviews For Where Once Was Light
Author's Response: IT came out in '95? Really? I thought for sure it was '94. *shrug* Still a fantastic book/movie. Yay Colonel Brandon! So, you can have Edward or the Colonel. Not too hard a choice (at least for me) Thanks for the review- have some candy! ^^
But really PETER? Why would anyone want to be reminded of that rat?! Author's Response: lol yeah, it's Peter. You'll be informed about that later, promise. Glad you like the landlady though! ^-^ Thanks for the review!
is he going to keep his face that way and let the world think that harry potter is dead i cant wait till the next chapter .. VV Author's Response: Aww! Thanks, I'm glad you liked it. Guess you're just going to have to wait and find out *shrug* Have some candy while you wait! ^^ Thanks again for another review, I'm really glad you like it!
Author's Response: Aww! Thanks! I'll try to update soon. Have some candy! :)
As soon as I saw the words Mr. Brandon I thought immediately Colonel Christopher Brandon!! *sighs* I loved that movie, the book Sense & Sensibility was good but I prefer the movie...one guess why XD I watched Pride & Prejudice first but I always thought Mr. Darcy was like Severus XP But why Peter? =( I guess you have your reason :) Lovely chapter, hopefully Harry will get nice clothes soon! =D *sighs* tee-hee *steals Mr.Brandon* hm you didn't see anything...*winks* Author's Response: WHAT?!? You're not stealing my Brandon! lol I know, I love that movie! Brandon was so adorable! I hated Marianne for the longest time playing with our dear Colonel that way! I'd started to write a S&S fanfic and it was really good (I thought) when my computer got messed up and deleted all of my works. *sigh* Maybe one day I'll start it again. I also liked the book too, but there's just something about the movie...can't put my finger on it...lol And I do think Snape's a bit more Darcy like, but I tend to fancy the idea that he's a Brandon at heart. I just thought it would be cute to mix (in name only) characters Alan Rickman's played. When I realized that the story was taking place in '94 I just had to put it in. So, you get the special prize of having our dear Colonel or Edward. (bet I can guess who you'll take *wink*)
Author's Response: Yay! You get a special prize of your pick between my dear Colonel Brandon and the bashful Edward Ferris. Thanks for the lovely review!
As for the Latin, without really looking too far into it, it seems you may have found the right words, but the nouns aren't declined, and the verbs aren't conjugated. With Latin you can't just find the words because almost every word needs to be changed to reflect its position, number, and tense in the sentence. Author's Response: Yay! Mrs. Cadogan will be fun. She's fun to write about. *Hides face* yeah, I've never studied Latin before, and I thought I might take a stab at it. I guess I stabbed and missed. I'll try to find someone that can help me up here. Thanks for the review Ella. Have some candy!
Author's Response: Okay, thanks, I'll look at it.
I was startled at the use of Peter, but it makes sense that nobody would consider that a name for Harry. I'm glad you changed him to like Snape. Author's Response: Glad you liked the chapter! :) Have some candy as you wait for the next chapter. And yes, Peter, a startling name. It just kinda came to me actually. Thanks for the nice review!!
Now, we're really going to get to see Harry and Snape as father and son. This is always my favourite part of a Severitus--when they start to work on their relationship. This is one of my favourite chapters yet. I'm so anxious to see more of just Harry and Snape getting to know each other. Harry sounds like he is so handsome with his new Snape features, and thank God, his nose is not TOO big!! Love it. I hope that you got your computer problems fixed. Did you? I was missing your stories. I'm very anxious for the next chapter, because I want to see how they are going to interact with other people as father and son. Author's Response: Yay! Thanks Pandora. No, I haven't gotten my computer fixed quite yet, but I'm getting there. Microsoft can't hide from me!! Sorry, 'bout that, and on with the review. Yes, of course you get some candy! I have Muggle candies from all over the world, I've go wizarding candies, I've even got candy from SPACE! Well, not really from space, but I've got wizarding candies. Help yourself! ^-^ And the movie was Sense and Sensibility. In that one, Alan Rickman plays the absoulutely adorable Colonel Christopher Brandon. I used that for Severus's name while he's in Wales. Couldn't help it, I thought it was cute! ^-^ Plus that movie came out in 1994 so I got bonus for the chapter. ^-^ Thanks again for the review, and I'll really try to up date more! |
