great snape is mad at harrys friends,why? i mean i know that he wants harry to see him but why be mean Author's Response: Severus is trying to protect Harry and Harry's fragile emotional state, and sometimes he isn't always nicest towards others. It's something he knows he should try to change for Harry's sake. Thanks!

Wonderful chapter again! Author's Response: You brought away what I was trying to get across in this chapter. :) Harry isn't ready to face his friends yet, and you nailed the reason why. He's also a teenager, and so his insecurities are flaring up right about now. Poor boy. It'll take some time for him to come to terms with his illness and what it entails, but when Harry is ready he'll consent to seeing his friends. I'm sure by the time Harry sees them, Ron and Hermione will have regained their own composure or will face Molly's wrath. :)
But this was so sad. Poor Harry. People would get on my nerves too. I hate it when people talk to me when I'm not in a talking mood. They are SO annoying. Poor Harry! But yay for grading paper! I like helping teachers grade too, especially when I can add comments *evil grin* Me thinks Harry's getting a little Snape like here lol GOOD! He may need that! But Hermione was pretty clever in a mild way. Poor Ron and Hermione though! I'd be sick to learn if my friends had cancer. But why, OH why, did they EVER go to SNAPE'S room? They should have know he wouldn't want THEM there. But heck yes for protecting Harry, Snape! Rock on! Again, another great chapter Ella! I'm going home tomorrow night, so I'll have a WHOLE night to read as much as I want! XD Yay! So I'll leave you more reviews then, and you give me Snape cookies or Snapes on a cookie! XD Until then, have a butterbeer! Author's Response: Hands Ivy a cookie with Snape on it! People so get on my nerves, and I hate when like in a story someone is hurt or injured and like everyone and their family is crowded around the bedside of the sick/injured person. It's so cliche and like not what that person needs. Harry needed a distraction, and I think Severus in someway hoped Harry might pick up some things he missed from it. Ron and Hermione totally didn't know what they were thinking when it came to going to Snape's room! Yay, for you liking this one. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you so much. It's great to hear from a cancer survivor (I assume?) that I'm doing a realistic job with the subject matter.
And Hermonie and Ron gosh if someone doesn't open the door it means go away XD lol I can see Harry writing evil little comments on those tests with an evil grin on his face lol! Can't wait for the shopping trip! Cookies? AND they're Severus shaped?! I'd never eat it! *places preserving charm and puts into a frame and mounts on the wall* Perfect! lol Author's Response: *Hands over a cookie* Hermione and Ron mean well, but they are teenagers and as such act like it. They were selfish in their acts, but aren't all teenagers from time to time? I'm glad you liked Harry writing evil comments. I'm sure Sev will be amused when he reads them.
Author's Response: Unfortunately, Poppy is human and slipped. She's taking Harry's diagnosis quite hard and with speaking to the specialist right before Hermione and Ron, it just happened. She'll have a lot to apologize for to Harry.
Author's Response: She was completely shaken up still and slipped. Hermione found a weakness and went in for the kill. I think we can forgive her this once, though I'm not sure if Sev or Harry will right away.
I guess it just seems to come off as a blatantly obvious plot point. Every story should and needs to have plot points to get you from one part of a story to another, but this just seemed like this scene and Hermione's cunning was a way of getting Harry's friends to know what was going on. Anyhow, I could be wrong and mean no offense, but I just wanted to let you know how it came across to me, as a reader. But I am still gonna trust you, because so far this story has been too intriguing and well written to put down. ;-) And Hermione is so smart, but such a no-it-all, even in canon sometimes. If she could just reign that in a little bit, it would be for her own good! Poor girl. I loved that Harry was helping Snape grade tests and that he wasn't allowed to lie about all day. Did Severus wear his glasses? Hee, hee. ;-) I'm waiting to see this shopping trip! That should be enjoyable to read! Looking forward to the next chapter! :D Author's Response: Don't worry about offending me, Victory-Starr. You seem to know what you're talking about and I take to constructive criticism well. You have to if you wish to become a better writer. The scene in question is a little plot pointy. I know I could've made it less obvious if I revised and edited the chapter more, but I try not to get obsessed with that for this story. That's a bad line for me to walk down. LoL. You guys would never get chapters on a timely manner if I did that. Pomfrey is OOC somewhat in that scene. However, I think she's taking Harry's diagnosis really hard since she knows him so well. Also, she's used to broken bones, minor hexes, etc. and this just threw her off her game completely. As far as Severus' glasses, he wasn't wearing them. He's too self-conscious around Harry yet to wear them in front on him. Even our dear Sev sometimes feels human like us. =)
