Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Author's Response: *Hands Poirot a cookie* Hermione was caught up in her emotions somewhat selfishly. I think the chapter shows how the diagnosis is affecting everyone around Harry. Everyone tends to react differently than they normally would when something that major and life-threatening is discovered. Plus, it's weeks after the Ministry incident and she's leaving soon for the summer where she won't get the opportunity to see Harry until fall (or at least that's what she thinks).
Love this story. You write so beautifully and with sensitivity. I can't believe that Snape shooed the Gryffies out for Harry's sake. Too cute. I don't think that Hermione is going to leave well enough alone though. Can't wait for more. Author's Response: I meant a cookie that Snape baked, but you can have one shaped like Snape if you rather. ;) Hermione probably won't leave well enough alone, but she'll have to get through Sev and we know how difficult that is. Thanks so much for the writing comments. They put a smile on my face this morning when i read it.
Great chapter, I like the chase the friends away scene it let Snape show he cared in a Snapish way. Looking forward to the next chapter. Post soon Author's Response: Thanks. I liked the chase away the friends scene, too. Hermione and Ron need to learn they can't talk their way into everything.
Author's Response: LoL. Good point. Assume it's actually a cookie not laced with poison or some potion. I was going to offer cookies made by me, but those have more chance of being inedible than Sev's cookies.
Author's Response: I hope you meant unusual in a good way. ;) One of my pet peeves in fanfic is that when someone is ill or hurt, the author writes like all the characters crowding around the bedside of the affected person when that would be so overwhelming and at times very unwelcome to the affected person. It's always nice to hear someone finds my story amazing. *smiles* Thanks! |
