Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Author's Response: Thanks again. I'm glad to hear it's connecting with you emotionally because good fiction does. =)
hm...I bet it's his friends that trigger it XD lol I'm evil Author's Response: LoL. Do you have something against Hermione and Ron? Passes a strawberry and lemon snow cone to you. =)
his breakdown? either his friends or the needles, although Dumbledore might end up causing it somehow as well... Author's Response: Yeah, you'll learn a lot about chemo just like Harry is.
Bravo! Dancingkatz Author's Response: Thanks! *smiles* Still, I plan to get the next chapter up within a few days.
I really liked this chapter. Severus was so patient with Harry and I loved that. It was both somewhat cute and yet incredibly sad when he was trying on clothes. He's small already, but when he saw himself in the mirror, that was so heartbreaking. Severus picking out hats and vitamins and such for Harry's future use was also incredibly sad. It instills this bit of dread inside you... you know what's coming, yet it is still depressing. You seem to really know what you are talking about in this regard and it shows. I'm still enjoying this story so very much! Looking forward to the next chapter!! Author's Response: Thanks so much. I'm happy to hear it read somewhat cute and sad at the same time because that's what I was going for. Dread is good, and you should be feeling it.
Author's Response: You'd bet your snow cone? We'll just have to wait and see. And surprise, Snape is human, should we alert the presses?
Author's Response: I love them, too. Yes, Harry's not in a state to fight right now and Sev knows that. As nasty as he can be, I can't picture Severus taking advantage of a sick child. He has too much decorum for that.
I'm so glad that Snape bought Harry new clothes. The boy really needed them. I love that Snape is being so caring, while not losing his snark. Great job on doing that; not as easy as it looks. Love this story, and I can't wait to read the next chapter. Poor Harry, I have a feeling that he's going to be going through hell. Author's Response: Thanks. I'm glad Harry got new clothes, too. I'm glad that Snape isn't losing his snark for you, and of course a snow cone for you.
And I'll take one of those snow cones on behalf of the northern hemisphere too... these 95 degree days aren't agreeing with me too well! Madeline Author's Response: Thanks! I'm happy to hear my pacing is good. Sends over a snowcone.
Cherry/blueberry snowcone for me please. Author's Response: We'll see if you're correct soon, but it's a good guess. Cherry/blueberry snowcone coming right up. |
