i know its supposed to be horrible what's happening to Harry...but your writing makes me laugh in delight so incredibly much :D to write such a serious and sad fic and still managing to make people laugh the entire time is truly a gift ^^

Author's Response: Yay! I tried to weave some humor in between all the angst, and I'm glad to hear it worked. The story can't be super serious all the time, or it would be too emotionally draining for you to read and for me to write. The chapter I just posted last night has some humor that you should enjoy. Thanks!

Great twist with Flurry being Lily's at one time.

Severus really is wonderful now with Harry, that's so good to see.

Author's Response: Flurry was always going to originally be Lily's. I couldn't imagine Sev ever picking out a white fluffy cat for himself. lol. He may be softening, but he's not a white kitty type.

"Yes, that's how it's said. Now to sleep with you, brat," Severus chided before their chat could grow any sappier." "I'm not a brat," Harry insisted."You're the brat who stole my cat," Severus declared. "Good night."-My favorite section.

But how sad for Sev! That line with the, "he got the girl, I got her cat," was so sad, but brilliant! I don't know why exactly, but I love it. There's just something about that that I find perfect! Very, very good! :D

And poor Harry thinks he killed Sirius and that's why he has cancer. Poor kid! It's like he believes he caused the wrath of God or something. That struck me too. I wanted to cry.

But Flurry was great! XD The little "monster" seems to be what everyone wants! Lily had wanted her, Snape still wants her, and Harry now wants her. Too cute! How are they going to draw up the custody papers on this one? lol

And now Harry has to wait...I HATE waiting! It drives me nuts! But usually when I wait, I tend to think up ideas for my stories, and then I want to write them down, and then everyone stares at me oddly because I pull out this little notebook and pencil. But Harry can't do that! Poor kid!

Well, I REALLY wanna keep reading, but I have some stuff that simply MUST *rolls eyes* be done. But I still want that snowcone. I know it's getting colder, but I just REALLY love snowcones! ^-^ I NEVER pass'em up! I'll read later!

    Author's Response:

That chapter was kinda the real start to what happens in the chapter you're off reading right now. (chapter 15). The first cracks were starting to show.

Yay, you loved the Flurry bit. I had fun with that. I have no idea where I came up with "he got the girl, I got her cat," but it was like one of those things that just pop into your head, and I totally had to use it.

I don't think custody papers for Flurry will be needed...

Yes, Harry had to wait a bit, but at least Flurry tried to keep him busy. ;)

*sends Ivy her snowcone.* I love them, too.

This chapter is a nice break from the tension, a very touching break. I am a kitty person and I love the fact that Harry and Flurry get along so well.....nice twist with Flurry being Lily's cat!!!

Author's Response: Thanks! It's a little break. Perhaps I should've called it "The Calm Before the Storm"...Hmm, well the next chapter should be posted in an hour or so, so look forward to that. :)

I just found your story and I'm enchanted. You've done a wonderful job of conveying Harry's fear, Sev's concern(as well as his dismay at finding himself concerned.).

Thank you for sharing your story! I'm looking forward to your next update.

    V.

Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad you found my story and are enchanted by it.

Augh! I never get updated about this story. Grr.

I totally did not see this twist coming, but that is okay! I really like Flurry and also that she doesn't mind showers. I'd like to bring her home with me. ;-)

This was a cute chapter. A nice little breather before the whole procedure, I am guessing.

Looking forward to the next one!

Author's Response: Thanks! Sorry, I don't think Sev will let you take Flurry home. ;)

I have mental problems. I could have sworn the cat was called Fluffy, though I don't think this is a continuity error; I read so fast I often get the wrong words! LOL. Once a name was Slavka, I was reading so fast I simply pronounced it Slovakia! I always do that with new words, though obviously Flurry is not a new word, so I guess I just have mental problems. Anyway, on with the actual review. Harry's thoughts on the cancer...poor boy! I don't have words to describe how I feel for him. YAY, go Severus! I love that he asked Harry to call him Severus, brilliant! And the way he comforted Harry after his nightmare...GO SEVERUS! I love the way Harry talks about his cancer in terms of Voldemort and his Death Eaters, brings a bit of humour to the situation. I loved it when Harry asked Severus not to go, and i had thought it would be the Hickman procedure, but I guess it is now bound to be in the next chapter. It was almost anti-climatic, but then with Harry's nightmare and the discussion about Flurry (and my discovery of her true name, I was clearly drinking in your words way too fast!) and it defiantely wasn't. I'd been wondering about Flurry (honestly, how could I have thought Severus would have a cat named Fluffy!) and was very glad to hear her intriguing back story. I also liked the fact that her breed? Species? Subspecies? Were normally potioneers cats, and the story behind her name was great too. I'm probably going to review you on fanfiction.net now, just because I have an account there and can put you on story alert, but I just wanted this review to be on here to beat fanfic! Anyway, I will be BookWormVicky on there, just so you know.

Author's Response: LoL. I think you got confused because sometimes I described her as being fluffy. While everyone was waiting for the Hickman procedure, the nightmare factors into something else that's coming. I had to add one more thing onto Harry's ongoing list of problems. ;) I'm glad you loved the chapter and I'll look out for you on FF.net. Thanks!

Flurry is very sweet. She sounds like a very useful animal for a Potions Master to have.I hope that the procedure to install the Hickman line isn't too horrible for Harry. Loved this chapter, can't wait for the next one! :)

Author's Response: Flurry is a very sweet cat, like cats are supposed to be *gives my evil psychotic cat who bites an evil look.* I don't think the procedure itself will be too horrible, but we'll see. Thanks!

I like the Flurry story :) Poor Severus. Well, not he got the kid, too... Mila

Author's Response: Yay, another Flurry fan-club member, and someone's been reading the whole story listing. ;) Thanks!
