Great chapter! I know we can beat FF.net! I am loving this story and how accurately you portray the feeling upon a cancer diagnosis. Soon, Harry may even begin feeling tremendous guilt for being a burden to Snape.

Author's Response: FF.net is up more than 10 reviews right now. I'm happy to hear you love my story. It puts a smile on my face after a boring day filled with class. Trying to get the emotions right is tricky, and I like hearing it's accurate. Thanks!

I like a challenge, great chapter! For some reason I have been reading Flurry as Fluffy up till now. Post soon

Author's Response: I like challenges, too. ;) Fluffy, Flurry, very close to the same name. I have described her as being fluffy so that's why you probably read it that way. Thanks!

Another great chapter! The nightmare scene was sad, I'm glad Sev was able to help Harry. *does a happy little jig* You must have read my mind! You answered my question about Flurry before I even asked it! I liked the story about Flurry. *grins* And Severus can call Harry a brat all he wants, but I heard the affection in his voice...he may try to hide it, but he's not fooling me! And Severus telling Harry to call him by his given name is a nice touch, too. I was wondering when that was going to happen....I'll admit, I'm a little anxious about Harry's procedure, myself. Of course, I know about cancer, and chemo, and whatnot, but I've never really thought about how the drugs are administered (I guess I always assumed it was done by IV), so I don't know very much about the Hickman. I hope this isn't too personal a question, but do you have some kind of experience with it, or have you just done research on it?

On the note of being your Continuity Fairy, I'd like to apply for the position, if it's still available when you read this. I'll send you an email with more info. Well, here's one more review for P&S! Great chapter! Can't wait for the next update!!

    Author's Response:

Thanks again! I totally must've used Legilimens on you. ;) I'm happy to hear you heard Snape's affection in his voice like you were meant to.

Doctors can use IV lines to administer chemo, but it's bad on the veins and they eventually collapse is what I understand. Plus, it's a great way not to need a gazillion needle stabs. I'm fortunate enough to not have experience with cancer, but I tend to be a research junky when I need to be.

Somehow the story of Fluffy makes a lot of sense.

    Thank you

Author's Response: Thanks! I'm glad it made sense for you.

I love the twist with Flurry having been Lily's cat. And about the special kind of cat Flurry is. What cool ideas.

Author's Response: Thanks! I always envisioned Flurry as Lily's cat to begin with. In a way it shows Sev's attachment to the past and Lily.

Flurry surprised me, I guessed that Flurry was Severus but no it was Lily and now Harry? Funny that a cat can go into the shower that was unexpected. >_< lately I've been reading fics mostly based loosely around the time Sirus died and Harry blames himself so I'm getting very down =/ but as the story goes on it makes me happy to know I don't have to play it out in my head on my own...not sure if that makes sense...I really babble when sleepy lol good night :) I hope you find a beta!

    Author's Response:

Flurry will stay Sev's even though she's taken a liking to Harry. As Severus said, he's grown quite attached to her. You've never heard of a cat jumping in the shower before? My cousin's cat did it like all the time. Now, my cat she refuses to even get her paws wet.

Lots of fics are written around the time Sirius dies. It seems like a good place to start fics. I think it's because it's before the Horcruxes and all that stuff.

Good night to you and thanks!

As usual, an amazing chapter--powerful and emotional. You write this subject matter with class and dignity. I just love Flurry. What a cute story to go with it too. So sweet. That was really nice of Severus to open up about Lily like that, even though it's difficult for him. He did it just for Harry. How unselfish and so un-Snapelike!!

Can't wait for the next chappie.

Author's Response: Thanks! I love Flurry, too. It was hard for Severus to tell Harry, but it opens the way for Sev to tell Harry more about Lily. Flurry was a good place to start.
