Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Author's Response: *Hugs* "Pity parties?" I don't think Harry will ever use that wording thanks to his upbringing and fame, but I'm sure this won't be the last time Harry questions why it happened to him. It's so great to hear from you that I nailed this chapter. I'm glad you had your "Snape" when you needed him, and as for the required reading bit *blushes,* that's an amazing compliment. Thank you.
Author's Response: Go ahead, but Snape might not like it. Oh, and be sure to wash your hands well because Sev takes Harry's compromised immune system really seriously. ;) Thanks!
That was sad...yes, but on the other hand hopeful, sweet and happy too. Harry finally has someone strong to lean on and that will always be there for him. Something, every child deserves. So beautiful. I love this story. Oh, so what flavour lollys do you have? Author's Response: Thanks so much! I don't think Harry will view it that way, but as an outside reader I see how it can come across that way as well. I think you can have both. ;) As for the lollys, I have strawberry, grape, butterscotch, and cinnamon.
Author's Response: Trust me, I know. If you thinking reading it was gut-clenching, writing it was ten times worse. I wrote it over three days and by the end, I just wanted it to be done.
Author's Response: I feel bad for Harry, too, and I'm the one who put him through it! Thanks!
I think my favorite part was Snape telling Harry that he'd carry him if it came to that, and then almost as if to prove that point, he carried him to his bed. And then sat with him. Sigh. So sad. This was a much anticipated chapter, I think for a lot of people, and it was good! In a sad sorta way. ;-) Author's Response: Maybe Sev knows how to make lollipops? lol. I think that might be stretching it. I totally didn't intend to write that part like that, but now that you point it out, I really like how that turned out. Perhaps I subconsciously knew it? Thanks!
Thanks. Author's Response: You're quite welcome. Thank you. It is sad and it needed to be, maybe we'll get a light moment in the next chapter.
I hope he doesn't over react when he finds out about the injection. Keep up the good work Author's Response: Good question. That part is planned out, you'll just have to keep reading to see... I don't know how Harry is going to react yet, but it'll definitely be in the next chapter. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! Harry had to fall apart. It was inevitable, but he got lucky with Snape being around when it happened.
Author's Response: Thanks! I forget sometimes that I spent hours working on what took you a fraction of that time to read. Of course after that long a chapter like that weighs you down. I'm glad to hear it feels like Snape started to piece Harry back together. |
