Aw, Flurry is cute. I hope Harry will feel up to playing with his snitch sometimes.

You have such a good grasp of all the little details that go along with a serious illness like this. Great job again!

Author's Response: I'm sure Harry will feel up to playing with his snitch sometimes. He can't feel horrible all the time, though this first week of chemo is rough on him. I'm so happy to hear that you think I've got a good grasp on the little details because those are what make stories believable, and that's one of my goals for this story. Thanks!

I just started reading your story today and I'm finding it very interesting. I often forget to review while catching up on stories but had to do so this time. Go Bears!

There, maybe now they won't have 5 interceptions in one game next time.

    Author's Response:

Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story so far. There's a few twists and turns ahead of you so hold on. ;)

Yay, another Bears fan! That last game was brutal to watch, and to think I sacrificed watching Grey's to watch the game. Ugh. They need to have a good game on Sunday to prepare for facing the Vikings the next week.

XD I love Flurry! She's so cute! And everyone loves her. Too bad she can't sleep with Harry anymore, but I understand why. Maybe she'll sleep with Sev again? lol I'm sure he'd like that. And yeah, I'm sure if people knew Snape had a little white kitten, they wouldn't take him so seriously. XD It'd be funny to see though.

And Harry's treatment just doesn't sound like any fun. >_< Good thing Sev and deal with it though. He's got a will of steal. But I'm with Harry on the school part. I don't like to get up to do stuff either, but boy does it feel weird when you don't!

Very good, and Miss Lucy is still adorable! I think she's a great doctor for Harry. Someone he can get along with and won't scare him too much (as it's inevitable for him NOT to be scared about cancer or its treatments.

Sooo...you're a Bears fan, eh? I have friends that like the Bears. I'm not big into football myself, but if I cheer for a team it'd have to be the Indy Colts! Yay Indiana! Well, I have to go for a bit, but I'll read later on tonight! Have some chips and salsa :D

    Author's Response:

Not only will it feel weird for Harry to not attend class, it'll be even weirder since his friends will be. You know it's like more "normal" when your whole group of friends are experiencing the same change like switching from middle to high school compared to when you're the only one experience it.

Harry needed a pediatric mediwitch. He needed an understanding witch compared to how cold adults can be.

Yes, my house is total Bears country. A little Chicago like oasis in Alabama. lol. We've got a bye week tomorrow, boo, but maybe that means I'll get more writing done. We'll see. I am sooo tired, so I'm not sure if I'll respond to any other reviews tonight, but I'll get to them tomorrow if not.

    hehe nice relexes Sev!

not big on football american or other erg soccer....:) My dad likes 49ers my uncle like the Raiders.
Me? I like Silver and Green for Slytherin! hahaha lol!

I think I'm dreading seeing Harry more sick :( but then I can't wait >_<

What happens at reviewer number 200?
    I think I'm 201 XD

Author's Response: Yay, someone else likes Sev's reflexes. ;) I know it's a toss-up with Harry getting sicker. At times I can't wait to write it, and other times I dread it because it's going to be depressing.

I'm not sure what'll happen to reviewer number 200. lol. She'll definitely get a shout-out next chapter. Any suggestions?

Not a football fan? That's totally understandable, but you can totally have silver and green for Slytherin. Just don't asks for snakes to go with them. I'm absolutely terrified of snakes.

Great story thus far! Sorry I haven't been reviewing as much as I'd like, but my Grandma took a tumble and I've been staying nights with her. I am loving how you are putting all the detail into the story. It's spot on! I've had/have two friends with cancer (one with ALL like Harry and one with a brain tumor) and it's exact in it's description. The girl with ALL is doing well, despite going out of remission a couple of times but my friend/college roommate died a few months after being in remission due to a car accident.....ANYWAYS...um, I am looking forward to the rest of the story, I am hooked! Hum...Bears?...That team's alright, but I prefer the college team, VA TECH with it's Maroon and Orange. Oh and I think if this is up to date, I'm reviewer 200!

    Author's Response:

    You are number 200! Congrats!

I hope your Grandma is doing well. We had my grandparents live with us for about a year a couple of years ago, and I know how that can be. I'm super happy to hear my story is exact in its description. I've tried as hard as I can to keep it accurate, though being in the wizarding world I get to afford myself a little leeway. It's great that the girl with ALL is doing well, and wow that must've been hard to lose a friend/college roommate like that.

Maroon and orange pom-pons for you. ;)

At last Harry gets a tiny positive out of all this - no potions practicals! So was Severus a little annoyed because he'd missed something, or had he been looking forward to some one to one teaching? Glad Flurry can stay around during treatment - they're going to need her.

Author's Response: Yes, Harry gets a tiny positive out of all those, though I have no doubt Severus will figure something out. He was actually feeling a little lost because in some ways restricting Harry from brewing is restricting Sev, too, and he brewing is one of his passions. I'm happy Flurry can stay around, too. You're right about them needing her. Thanks!

Yay for an updadate. This was a good chapter. The narrative with Miss Adamson was much less confusing, so good job!

I love him getting a practice snitch. That's so awesome for him. It's also really great of Snape to be so understanding and prepared for everything.

I'm excited for the next chapter!

Author's Response: Thanks! Harry needs some small things to be happy about, and I'm sure Miss Adamson knew that. Plus, it's a good subtle way to encourage Harry move around and get some exercise even if it is minimal. If Snape knows how to do anything right, it's being prepared.

I'll take the burgandy and gold of the Redskins please!!! Wonderful chapter. I'm so glad the adults in Harry's life NOW realize to keep him in the loop and let him how much information he wants in all this. I love Miss Adamson, so much in fact I'd love to see her and Severus get together! No hinting here, outright let you know!!!

    Author's Response:

A set of burgundy and gold pom-pons coming right up!

I think it's important that Harry gets to decide how much information he wants. He's nearly sixteen and while still very much a child, he needs to make some decisions with guidance to help him make the transition into adulthood that's coming in a few years. Of course some things will be kept from Harry just as any adult doesn't tell a teen absolutely everything like Harry doesn't need to know he's the only case of cancer seen in a wizard at his age.

I'm glad you like Miss Adamson, but there's no plans to get her together with Sev. There's no place in the storyline for a romance between them. Thanks!

Lots to learn about cancer treatments in this chapter.

Author's Response: Yes, there is. As Harry and Sev learn, so do we. Thanks!

I'm glad he can keep Flurry around, and what a laugh casing the snitch! :-)

Yep, we are definately and officially on the down hill side for how Harry is going to feel for a long time. YOu are doing a great job of being "accurate" about the disease without writing a "snooze-fest" congrats!

    V.
(can I have 2 sets of pom-poms? purple and black for the Ravens and Red and White for the Chiefs--they play each other tomorrow and I'm so Torn! ;-) )

    Author's Response:

I'm happy Flurry can stick around, too. Animals can brighten even the worst day.

Yep, we're starting to slide downhill which will be marked by a return to a darker tone next chapter. I think I've been able to keep it accurate without being a snooze-fest by digging into the characters' emotions, and not being overly clinical and cold with my writing. Thanks!

Of course you can have two sets of pom-pons since neither are for the Packers. ;) At least with your teams, you'll be happy with whoever wins.
