Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Poor Harry, it just all seems so overwhelming, and I'm an adult. I can't imagine how terrifying it all must be for a child to go through all that. I'm just so impressed at how strong and supportive Severus is. He's like a rock; he's an anchor for Harry, and who'd a thunk it?! You are a very gift writer Ella, and even though the subject matter is heartbreaking, you have a way of writing it, that softens the blow. Although, you write the treatments with such detail, you still manage to instil such hope for Harry; because he has Severus there for him through thick and thin. Author's Response: Thanks! Harry's terrified, that's for sure and we'll see that as the story progresses. He's not just terrified over his treatments either. He's dealing with so much uncertainty with the whole situation and everything that's happened. It'll take time and work for Harry to feel himself again. Sev's been a rock so far. All his years as a spy and suppressing his emotions have helped him to handle Harry, though I wouldn't be surprised if he becomes more affected later on... Thanks for the comments about my writing. They make me smile. I think the hopeful feeling comes from me being an optimist and seeing the glass as always half-full.
Author's Response: Thanks! It'll probably be another chapter yet, but the darker tone will return next chapter to up the angst again. ;)
Author's Response: I think she'll understand since she'll be told in a way she understands...
Yay, football! Go Cowboys! :D That would be blue and white...oh, dear...you know what I just realized? My team has the same colors as my high school...That's a little scary...and it's even more scary that I only just noticed it... *puppy-dog eyes* Am I #200?? Although I suppose it's really not fair of me...oh, well! Can't wait for the next chapter! Author's Response: Thanks. That's scary that you just noticed that. You're number 191. Close, but not quite. |
