Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Thank goodness Severus was able to help Harry..that was a vicious attack, and with Harry already weakened he just doesn't have the strength to fight Voldemort right now. And when Harry worried that Severus was going to change back, that was so sweet and sad, but also very real and believable. Of course Harry would worry about that, because things were so bad between them and now have changed so completely. Glad that these Occlumency lessons are off to a good start! Author's Response: Thanks! Don't doubt yourself. You're quite creative, too. ;) Severus was definitely in the right place at the right time. He's the right person to oppose Voldemort mentally as he knows Voldemort's mind probably better than anyone. Harry is weakened. Let's just hope Voldemort didn't sense it. Harry's insecure, which is only natural. It'll take some time for him to really believe Severus isn't going to change back to the snarky git. The Occlumency lessons are off to a good start, but I suspect the lessons won't take place as much as Severus would like to considering Harry's weakened state.

And poor Harry...again, being sick and tired and scared. Yay (again) for Snape being there! And let the lessons begin!! But Snape's gotta be getting tired too. I mean, you'd think he'd be worn out from battling Voldy and from his Dark Mark hurting him...hope he gets some rest. Butthere was one part that inerested me. The little kid in Harry's mind, why didn't he look like Harry? Hmmm...I think I might know where this is going. Does it have to do with the letter? Hmmm...I hope it's what I think it is. Very good! ^-^ I'm sorry I haven't read in a few days, but I've been on a writing spree, plus I've been pretty sick again, but I'm finally feeling better. Oh, yeah, um, about Flurry? I think she wants to come visit me more often. She and my cat Viktor really hit it off. Started torturing my sister's cat, you know? lol Well, I know this is late, but PLEASE give me your warm weather! Have thrive in the heat. This cold rainy nonsense is stupid :( Sorry for rambling, off to the next chappie! Author's Response: Thanks and I totally know what you mean. Sev is totally getting tired, and i'm not sure rest is in the cards yet. He'll be to busy with a few things for a bit, first. The little kid in Harry's mind was meant to look like Harry, just smaller and younger though it's interesting you read it a different way. It's good to hear you're feeling better. I don't know about Flurry. You're going to have to ask her and Sev. I'm not sure how willing Sev is to allow her to go off and visit others often. He's definitely attached to her. I don't think you want our weather today. lol. In fact, I think you might've taken our 90 degree heat from yesterday because today we only got up to like 69 and we're currently at 60! It feels amazing.
Poor Harry! What a horrible thing to be going through. And at the same time, I love how his relationship with Severus is developing. Author's Response: Thanks! Harry is going through horrible things and there's a few things yet that he'll have to face. He's tough though and I'm sure he'll continue to fight. We're supposed to hit 89 again tomorrow. Ugh. I totally feel your pain.
Author's Response: Thanks! I love little Harry, but I couldn't ever write a complete novel-length story with Harry as a little kid. I like the drama and possibilities that a teenage Harry brings. However, you'll see bits of a baby Harry in my fest fic. ;) Voldemort wasn't happy, that's for sure and we'll see how long he stays quiet. He hasn't told me his plans yet.
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm not sure if Voldemort will keep his ugly head down. He hasn't informed me of his plans yet. ;) Occlumency is going to be loads easier for Harry this time. It's amazing what a difference it makes when both Harry and Severus wish to succeed.
I'm happy also that Snape told Harry that he doesn't hate him anymore. I can't wait to read more about Flurry and I'm really looking forward to the next chappie. Great chappie as usual, Ella. Author's Response: Thanks, Pandora! People say Harry has a saving people thing, but I think Sev has a saving Harry thing. ;) It was important for Harry to hear that Severus doesn't hate him, and I think this was the right moment for it. I'm not sure if Flurry will be in the next chapter or not, but there promises to be lots of Severus.
Author's Response: I think Voldemort won't give up summoning Snape just because he knows he's protecting Harry. Voldemort likes to torture people, and he won't give up that opportunity while he has the chance. Thanks! |
