Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Author's Response: I'm sure Severus won't go easy on Dumbledore. After his "conversation" with Molly, I'm sure his patience will have disappeared. I certainly wouldn't want to be on the receiving end of his wrath, which Dumbledore will find himself at. Harry will meet up with his friends soon. After the current week's chemo treatment, I have a plan for Harry to see them, which will be hinted at either in this next chapter or the one after that. I'm happy to hear you loved Severus' thoughts about his relation to Harry. He's certainly torn. Thanks!
HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!....one day early lol! Off to class now! ugh it's cold >_< I'd be like Harry and say to Sev "you take the explosion (Mrs.Weasley), Sev and I'll come save you from the rubble." Author's Response: I don't Lupin is necessarily a drunk, more like depressed and grieving from his best friend's death. He'll probably be the "wild card" during the meeting, since his reactions will be rather unpredictable. It's finally "cold" here, and I'm so happy about it. lol. Granted 70 degrees as highs isn't exactly cold, but it's a very welcome change from 90s everyday. :)
Author's Response: Yay, I hoped people weren't turned off by the father/son dynamic. It was always in my plan from the very beginning, which is one of the reasons I chose to mess around with Sev's parents. I wanted Harry to have cool, fun grandparents because he's missed so much already. I'm sure there'll be much drama when Harry is told. In some ways he's much like his father, especially when it comes to their tempers. lol. I'm happy to hear everything is described well with believable characters. That means a lot to me as a writer to know that I'm doing well for you guys. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm happy to hear the development is coming across well.
Author's Response: I'm working on it. Well, not yet, but I do have all day off tomorrow finally. Yay! Mondays are usually my major writing day, so we'll see how it goes. Thanks!
I was a bit concerned that Poppy wouldn't have a head left after trying to refuse to have Sev tested. Now I'm a bit concerned about both Molly and Sev--who will be left standing after this yell-fest.(I am hoping for Sev--he did shapen his tounge before calling her over, didn't he?) Looking forward to your next update! (imagine BIG SAD PUPPY DOG EYES! ;-) ) V. Author's Response: I decided not to go with the devil horns on Halloween. The headband wasn't comfortable enough to wear to work. I, however, did wear my "Property of the half-blood Prince" shirt and drew a Dark Mark on my left arm with a Sharpie, so I think I still qualify for that title. ;) My bets are on Sev having the edge since he was somewhat prepared for Molly's wrath. lol. It'll be interesting to see how their tempers class though. I just hope none of it gets transfered onto Harry. Thanks!
Author's Response: I hope the glow stick bracelet at least softened the blow of having to wait. ;) You're welcome.
Author's Response: But cliffies are sometimes essential. ;) I'm glad you enjoyed the more relaxed chapter. Our characters needed a little reprieve. Harry hasn't revealed to me how he'll react once Severus tells him, so I'm not sure if he'll cut him some slack or not. It'll probably depend on how and when Sev tells him. You're right by thinking Molly seeing Harry first will lessen the blow to his friends. Right now Harry's uncomfortable in his own skin and scared at his friends' reactions. Although he's starting to come to terms with his cancer, and I have his "reunion" with his friends planned out. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thanks! I'm sure Molly has a lot to say. I just hope she'll be able to calm down around Harry and not go overboard in coddling him. ;)
Author's Response: Aww, yay. I hope you liked it. ;) |
