Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
But I feel that Molly will be fine with a little time, and I think she's a good choice to watch over Harry while Severus is away. Poor Harry, he really is having a rough time now. I hope things will get better for him soon. Author's Response: You're right about Molly. She was feeling overwhelmed, but she has her motherly instincts to fall back on. She has tons of experience in that, and I think that'll come in handy with helping Ron and even Hermione cope with having a very ill best friend. Harry's having a very rough time and it'll get worse before it gets better, but once he gets past that first week of chemo things will get better. Thanks!
Author's Response: I get cookies? Wow, thanks! I'm sure you know by now what happened in the meeting. I hope my update was quick enough for you. Thanks!
Author's Response: I haven't forgotten about the story. It's just set aside for the moment until I can get my writing sample perfected for my grad apps which is turning out to be harder than I originally thought since I picked a very difficult excerpt to tackle. *sighs* Hopefully I'll get it done within the next few days so I'll have time to work on this story again. Thanks!
OH you work on Black Friday?! Wow a killer day! I'll take Black Friday priced items instead of cookies lol. "HAAAARYY WHHY CAN'T U C...what you're doing to meee." Imagine severus singing that lol, but in a fatherly way. o.o I don't remember if it was this story but did you watch A Very Potter Musical? Author's Response: Molly's swing of emotions is rather realistic of a mother as fiery as she is. She was scared and when you're also upset, emotions wise a person's actions can wind up all over the place. Perhaps you're just siding completely with Severus and that's why she kinda made you mad. ;) Black Friday actually wasn't too horrible to work since I worked the opening shift. It's so busy that it goes by super fast and then you get to leave and let others pick up the mess. lol. I've watched parts of "A Very Potter Musical," but haven't made it all the way through. Thanks!
And oh my, oh my, Albus may expect something explosive when Severus finds out, but I'm sure he's not expecting it so soon - and not during an Order meeting. Whoo-wee, this is going to be interesting. Good luck next week at work. Try to keep smiling and remember that Black Friday only comes once a year! Author's Response: Molly is never one to just sit and listen when she's riled up so Severus resorted to using a tactic I'm sure he's used with a student before. You're right with Albus not expecting Sev to find out so soon. I'm sure the Order is in for a meeting they never saw coming. Thanks for the good luck. I'll definitely need it on Saturday night when I'm closing and ready to kill people for making huge messes. lol.
Author's Response: I'm sure Albus will be the one surprised at the Order meeting, and he doesn't know what awaits him. Thanks!
Author's Response: Thank you! I can't promise when the next chapter will be posted, but my fest fic turned into a one-shot of a forgotten moment from this story when Harry was a baby which I hope you'll enjoy.
Author's Response: You're very welcome. I'm happy to hear you're enjoying my story. I'm really glad you're enjoying the characterization because that's really the heart of this story. Sev will certainly stand up to Dumbledore next chapter, and I'm sure Molly will get her turn sometime in the future as well. Thanks!
Reading about Molly vs Snape is always a fun thing! ^_^ She's just so emotional and he's just usually so not! It makes for the perfect clash! XD But I'm glad he was able to calm her down. Harry didn't need the extra stress. And I adore Harry's thoughts of Severus's being the best for him. The line where he admits that being held by Severus was better than Molly just made me go "Aww! Maybe MY day wasn't so bad after all?" Very good! Well, even though this might be considered a rather sad fic, it makes me happy. So thanks for the update! And good luck with all the Black Friday stuff. Maybe I'll come help you? Just come pick me up...but you'd have to travel a bit I think. lol Have fun anyway!! Author's Response: Hang in there, Ivy. The semester is almost over and then you'll have some free time. I know the November/December crunch always sucks. Yay! I made Ivy's day. Harry totally didn't need the extra stress, and Severus seems to be really in tune of what Harry needs at the moment, which is good for both of them. Harry's memories were never altered and although he doesn't remember his time as a baby with Severus, I like to think somewhere his body remembers that time and it could contribute to Sev's comfort feeling better than Molly's. I could definitely use your help this upcoming week. Say you take the Saturday after Thanksgiving and I'll work Black Friday? lol. They scheduled me for six days when I usually only work four at the most. *kicks and screams like a toddler* lol. While the extra money will be nice, I'll be super cranky by the end of it all. Thanks!
Author's Response: I'm working at 4 that morning, but I'm just happy it's not closing. Opening is so much better since it's so fast paced that it'll seem to be over rather quickly, and then other people get to come in and clean up the mess. lol. I don't know about another chapter, but my fest fic will probably be up by then, which is a one-shot featuring Harry as a baby and is all kinds of cute. I, Ella, actually wrote a fluffy one-shot. lol. ;) Thanks! |
