Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
PS: We have snow in north Georgia. You can HAVE it. Only about 10% of the people here can even drive in it. *bleh* Author's Response: Yay, snow! Unfortunately it wouldn't take long to freeze. I'm actually from IL originally so I'm in like the 1% in southern Alabama that actually knows how to drive in it.
keep up the good work! Author's Response: Thanks! We'll have to wait and see if Harry comes around, but I'm sure he'll need energy to put up a fight and that'll be an advantage for Sev.
Author's Response: Thanks! Sev's had a hard life, but I'm sure if Harry comes around Sev will reap the benefits of having a son. It might even make him *gasps* happy.
Aw, that was too cute, him falling asleep while on the bathroom floor, in Sev's arms. I can't wait for the next chappie Author's Response: It might take Harry some time, but I'm sure he'll come around. He has every right to throw a little tantrum. Severus' choice caused him to suffer no matter how noble Sev's intentions may have been. I'm glad you liked that last little bit. It probably wasn't Harry's attentions to fall asleep on Sev since he's mad at him, but I'm afraid his exhaustion caught up with him. Thanks!
Snow...if I could, I would! We've been cold enough too (which is rare) and still nothing! Author's Response: Thanks so much! I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the story. It's really just a distraction. *Cough while I should be working on my original fiction novel cough* Uh yeah. That's not going so well. lol. Harry needs to be upset. If he wasn't, it would be rather unbelievable and he needs to show his emotions instead of bottling them up. He is going through so much, but I do have happier scenes in mind once we get there.
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm glad to hear you liked it.
Fantastic job on the story and on this chapter. Thanks so much for the update!!! Author's Response: You're right. I think Severus was expecting Harry's outburst, but expecting it and experiencing it is a different thing. I don't think he realized how hurt he'd be by it. Harry's outburst was essential. He's a teenager, which means he's prone to emotional outbursts just like any other teenager. Aww, yay, I'm glad to hear you liked the like "Frankly I can." The day I was writing the chapter they asked a question on Jeopardy about "Gone with the Wind" and the famous last line ("Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.") and I totally had that still in my head when I got to the end of this chapter. It just seemed right. It is interesting now that Harry has to realize and deal with someone really being in charge of him. He's never had that in his memory and at nearly sixteen, I'm sure he'll feel like he doesn't need it anymore, at least at times. Hmm, about Flurry. Perhaps if you talked to her, she could work a visit into her schedule for you. She is feeling rather ignored these days. ;) Thanks so much! I was so surprised to see your review as I wasn't sure you were still reading my story. |
