Reviews For Alea Iacta Est
Poor Harry. It doesn't end, does it? Now he's having visions. Harry needs a break, the poor kid. Oh, please update soon, because you've left us with a cliffie again!! Great chappie as usual though. Author's Response: Thanks! Harry definitely deserves a break. I have some good news lined up for him so perhaps a break is coming.
Poor Harry, Voldemort's a bastard! I like the emotion though, and I absolutely LOVE that Molly Weasley is sending Dumbledore a howler every hour on the hour. That is fantastic!!! I hope Harry can find it in his heart to be forgiving, and that Severus continues to try and get through to him. It must be so hard to be so helpless. Great work! Author's Response: Mardi Gras is such a fun time of year, isn't it? My university is so stupid when it comes to it. We have Fat Tuesday off, but not the Lundi Gras, the day before Tuesday, whatever you wish to call it. It doesn't make sense at all, but usually most professors decide to have a "library or conference day" scheduled for that day. Yay, I'm happy to hear you love the howlers. Molly isn't the type of person to just let something go, and I thought it was a funny light element to throw in. I'm sure Harry will find it in his heart to forgive Severus, but it was quite a shock to him and shattered his dreams a bit. Severus won't give up trying to get through to Harry. He understands the feelings Harry is experiencing and feels like he should've done something to ensure a situation like this didn't happen. Thanks!
Author's Response: I'm sure Sev noticed how bad Harry is. He certainly wasn't a spy who just got by on his luck. You're right that the Cruciatus curse can't be helpful on top of his cancer and chemo treatments. We'll see how that plays out very soon. Thanks!
I wish that Harry had told Severus about the attack on his mind. The only way to receive help sometimes is to ask for it and while I know he's angry, does he really wish to risk his life just to hurt his father? Great chapter! Author's Response: Don't worry, Albus will be feeling attacked for quite a while. Harry feel abandoned and of course naturally he'll blame Severus at first even though it's not all his fault. He'll have to come to terms with the fact that maybe what Severus did was for his own good. Of course right now, it's hard for Harry to sympathize with Sev when Sev himself doesn't have any of the necessary tangible memories to express the feelings he was experiencing at the time. Harry should've told Severus about the attack. In his mind, Harry feels betrayed and hurt which is superseding anything else at the moment. He's also angry about Severus going against his wishes concerning his chemo treatments, and in a way he's thinking that if he were to mention the vision it might mean more painful tests or medicines that don't work.
