Loved it. Great characters, great explanation of cancer. Love all the medical details and look forward to more.
Author's Response: Thank you. I tried to do my best with the details and trying to explain what cancer is. I mean all of us Muggles know what it is if not the exact specifics, and it was an interesting challenge to have to explain it to somehow who has a pretty much adult level of intelligence, but not a single clue what cancer is.

You did it justice, I know a kid the same age who was given this diagnosis two years ago and I feel that you are describing the characters emotions perfectly. Keep up the great work and please post soon.
Author's Response: Thank you. It's great to hear it's coming off as so realistic. The next chapter should be coming soon. It's pretty much written, I split the last chapter after I wrote it, so it's there. I just need to go through it yet. Hopefully, I'll have time to do that in a bit, but everything is a little crazy here right now because we just got a Yorkie pup on Saturday. So, everything is being done on her time right now.

I liked Harry's way of explaining cancer. The Dark Lord and Death Eaters. If the situation wasn't so serious it would be funny. I really enjoyed this chapter.
Author's Response: I like it, too. I thought of it while I was revising the chapter and i was like OMG that's kinda perfect. It works on two levels in that it is almost funny, but it's also sad that Harry at fifteen is thinking that way.
You wrote that extremely well, and yes, you did do it justice.
Poor Harry, but I 'm so glad that he has Snape to be strong for him and protect and care for him. Harry may not think so, but he is very lucky.
Very well done, and I'm looking forward to the next chapter anxiously.
Author's Response: Yay. It was hard to balance the information that needed to be said with the emotional side of it. Yes, Harry is very lucky. The next chapter is coming. I'll probably post it tomorrow afternoon or evening sometime. It's a lighter one, not fluffy except for Flurry, but it has some humorous moments which is one of the reasons I decided to split the chapter. It just didn't fit with this one.
