Reviews For Sacrifices
-P.G. Author's Response: Thank you for the review and compliment! I hope when you say "lengthy," it implies that it is a good thing. Thanks for reading...Looking forward to more reviews from you! Thank you!
Author's Response: Yes, I think it should have been that Severus took Harry too...Thank you for reading and reviewing...Makes me very excited!
Author's Response: Thank you for the Latin help there. Makes me happy. I am most nervous about the Latin, because there is a huge chunk of it in a later chapter (which I dread will be a mangled example of the language... *vainly hopes for success*) Thanks for reading!
I'm glad Remus could help. PS. I think maybe some purple pillows or something could accent the room. A nice jewel tone purple perhaps. Author's Response: Yes, it does "sucketh mightily," as you say. *giggles at your purple coments there...* Perhaps...
Author's Response: Thank you! Glad to see you are still reading.
I literaly laughed out loud with the whole, "No child of mine will sleep in a purple bed." That was great. And I also liked when Harry wanted the bear! So sad!! And the Minister's not Fudge? What an unexpected pleasure...or is it? I'm so glad that the Slytherin were sticking up for Sev. That made me happy. They should all try to stick together, especially after what just happened. Fantastic! But for once, I caught a little something in your story. Don't freak out! Just a little mistake. In the second section, you called Flitwick the Head of Hufflepuff. It should be Ravenclaw. But that's just about it. Least I could do after all you do for me, anyway! :) Love the story, and I'll try to keep up! Author's Response: OH my dear! *head wall* I said Flitwick was Head of Hufflepuff!? *head wall...hard!* Wow... And as to Fudge not being the Minister. If my research was correct. At this point, Fudge was the (I believe it was) Junior Minister in the Department of Magical Accidents and Catastrophes in 1981, so therefore he was not the Minister for Magic. He becomes the Minister for Magic in 1990. And Millicent Bagnold was the Minister from 1980-1990, according to canon and Harry Potter Wiki...Glad you liked the Slytherins sticking up for Severus in the chapter, and was amused by the purple bed. Thanks for reading, and also catching my mistakes. *grin* Will fix...
Sorry for not keeping up with your story either. Kept rather busy the last few day! Now I'm off to the next chapter! Author's Response: I'm so excited to get your review. There is a reason for Severus in the story acting not so bitter yet. But the snarky familiarity will eventually arrive, but not for a while. But for now, he is less bitter, but still has a bit of a temper.
The only correction I would make on the Latin is to change "Ostendo" (which actually means "I show") to "Ostende" (which is the imperative "Show!"), and "Tego" to "Tege". Otherwise your grammar looks correct. I'm looking forward to seeing little Harry at Hogwarts. Dancingkatz Author's Response: Thank you for the review AND the Latin help! Will be sure to change the Latin. Thanks! Thanks for reading!
Author's Response: Thank you for reading/reviewing! Makes me bust with excitement when someone reviews. Yes, the next step is arriving at Hogwarts. Glad you like it so far.
Author's Response: Thank you for reading and reviewing. Glad you are enjoying it so far. There are a lot of things that will first spiral nearly out of control before Severus gets settled. Stay tuned. Hope I do not disappoint you! Thanks again for reviewing and making me smile by doing so. |
