Reviews For Sacrifices
Author's Response: Ah! Mystery solved then! It happens. It actually happened to me when I responded to someone's review once. It responded twice. Weird. It happens! ~ RK
Poor Severus. I think that he needs a kiss. Great chappie. I'm looking forward to the next chappie. Author's Response: Thank you! Severus does indeed need something - a hug, a kiss, something! Next chapter continues this one, so you might be thinking he needs even more of a hug then, but it will take me a while to write. Lots of things happen in that chapter and it's going to be long. I'll write as fast as I can. Hope it does not disappoint. Thanks for the review again! ~ RK
Author's Response: Thank you! Glad you liked it! ~ RK
I did find two little errors though: "It's not like one or your father's social parties" change "on" to "of" "That is it was until Professor Snape brought his son to live with him." this confused me. I think it's supposed to say, "That is until Prof..." Very very good Raven! I give you ten points for such a quick update! You're putting me to shame! Author's Response: I had to check twice to be sure I wasn't seeing something. You reviewed twice? Odd. Yes, Elvira is a little old for Draco. *giggle* Tevin has a good bond with Severus, and hates to upset his father or to see someone/something upset his father. Glad you liked it! Hope the next chapter does not disaapoint. It's a long one! ~ RK
I found two little mistakes though:"It's not like one or your father's social parties." -On should be "of" "That is it was until Professor Snape brought his son to live with him." this sentence confused me a bit. I think you need to look at it. I think it sound read, "That is until Prof. Snape..." Again, Very very good Raven! I can't wait for more! Oh, and ten points to you for such a quick update! *cheers* Author's Response: Thank you, Ivy-Green! Glad the sadness was balanced in the chapter. I was hoping it wouldn't be overly depressing. Lucius's cane always fascinated me - especially after watching interviews with Jason Isaacs about Lucius's cane. So, after that I needed to explain where the cane comes from. Minnie biting him was only a way to introduce this cane. I won't even hide that! Have to have a little Slytherin/Gryffindor tension. Yes, Draco and Tevin are good friends. There will be more interactions with them in the future. Yes, considering that Halloween was the day that Severus lost Lily, I do not think he would be in a festive mood. He does want his son to enjoy Halloween, though, and he tries. Thanks for finding those mistakes! I fixed them! Don't expect an update nearly at the speed of this one. The next chapter is a continuation of Chapter 22, and is really long. It will take me quite some time to complete. I'll write as fast as I can. ~ RK
Author's Response: Thank you! I'm so happy it came across as tender and cute Severus & baby Harry interaction. I was nervous about writing a young, young child. Yes, they both need something, but it may take a while to figure out that they both just need each other. The stuffed animals represent two of the characters and are Harry's comfort items. One was his daddy's and the other his mommy's. Glad you enjoyed the chapter! And thank you for the review! ~ RK
Author's Response: Thank you! Updates are not normally this fast, so do not expect to be massively spoiled in the near future. *frowns* Besides the next chapter is very long and will take me a long time to write. Lots of things happen in that chapter, and is pretty much a continuation of Chapter 22. Glad you liked this chapter. Halloween is a sad day for Severus, but he wants his son to still find something good about Halloween. And yes, Draco was a little miffed about being wordlessly ordered to eat a good dinner before moving onto the sweets. Hope the next chapter does not disappoint! Thank you for your review! ~ RK
Author's Response: Thank you! He wouldn't be very intimidating would he while holding a little boy? If he can't be mean to a child how can he possibly work up the snark to his students? And besides, the image is too cute... Thanks for reviewing! ~ RK
Kudos to Lucius for saying thank you to Ophelia! I'm excited that he might break out of his old beliefs (possibly...I still need a little more convincing, I think). Great chapter! -P.G. Author's Response: Thank you! I figured Draco would be the bossy brat, while Tevin/Harry is too worried about making an adult angry. But he still has that Gryffindor quality of charging right into danger. Yes, he may have said, "Thank you," but will the politeness last? We'll see. Thanks for another review! ~ RK
I thought that Severus handled Tevin very well too. Nice chappie. I'm very tired from bowling, otherwise I'd write a longer review, but just know that I'm still very much enjoying this lovely story. Author's Response: Thanks! Lucius was just a bit too freaked out for the boys' safety, but he knows that they may have seen it as overreacting. Glad you like Severus and Tevin's interaction too. It's perfectly alright that you didn't leave a long review. We all get tired and just can't do it. (I'm actually going bowling at the end of this week! It should be fun!) Glad you like the story. (You're review #123! How cool is that!?) Hope to hear from you again! Don't wear yourself out with the bowling. *grin* ~ RK |
