I'm enjoying Lockhart's attempts to buddy up to Harry and Sirius' responses. I'm not sure Sirius will ever get through but he keeps trying.
I like the relationship between Remus, Sirius and Severus. It's nice that they buried their differences for Harry's sake. Too bad that Harry's visit with Snape was so rudely interrupted.
I like that Slytherin and Gryffindor shared the House Cup. I thought in canon that it was kind of mean to let the Slytherins think they won and then Albus changed it by handing out extra points at the last minute.
I like your treatment of the Quirrell and Harry episode. Taking Harry prisoner and forcing him along to get the Stone, makes perfect sense. I especially liked the talk Severus had with him about killing Quirrell. Snape was the right one for that job.
I never understood why Harry and the other kids were given detention with Hagrid in the Forbidden Forest at night. If something was killing unicorns, taking students to check on it seems like a crazy idea. I suppose it's a way of bringing Voldemort in but it still seems strange to me. Not critiquing you, just commenting on canon.
I love Christmas chapters. Finding out what gifts the characters exchanged in always interesting. Your Sirius at Christmas made me laugh. I have to agree with him though - who doesn't like presents?
The way Harry handled the duel situation with Malfoy was a real laugh. The blew up in Draco's face. It was nice that you included some backstory on how Harry ended up with Remus and Sirius, too.
Reading about Harry's reaction to his classes was fun. I also liked how he managed to worm his way into Severus' heart. I wonder if Snape posted the pictures in his private quarters?
I love the idea of Sirius and Remus raising Harry. Harry growing up at Hogwarts sounds like a fun story.
This is literally the cutest story I have ever read. It brought me to tears. Keep up the amazing work!
Author's Response: Thanks! I hope you enjoy the rest of the story!
