I love the idea of Severus being the romantic one. That must have been a nasty thing for Sirius - to be compared unfavorably to Snape. Draco has more patience than I gave him credit for to be able to wait that long to get Harry.
Author's Response: Thank you for all your reviews. I'm glad you're enjoying this so much.
I always thought Draco was underused in Canon, he had the potential to either become a good villain or turn to be an unexpected hero, instead they just painted him as a coward who couldn't decide which side he was on.
But he had to be in Slytherin for a reason, the house of cunning, both his parents, seemed quite inteligent, so one expects him to be too. So I would expect that he could indeed plan something and have the patience for proper execution, but at the same time he is still a spoiled teenager, very much influenced by his father and angry that his position and status had been lost, so I could also see him feeling justified at what he was doing. Really believing Harry deserved to be punished.
