I wonder why the students didn't complain to their parents about the lack of training in the DADA class? Their parents wouldn't have wanted their children to do badly on their tests and probably would have complained to the ministry. Enough parents complaining would have changed Fudge's mind.

Harry is between a rock and a hard place with Umbridge's detentions. If his father and uncles knew what was happening, she would probably meet an unfortunate end. Unfortunate for them, too, since they would get into trouble for it.

I like the way you worked Umbridge into the story. After his loss at the trial, Fudge would love to catch someone at Hogwarts doing something he can pin on them.
Title: Big Misunderstanding 04 Sep 2016 4:04 pm

It's nice to see that they are getting back to normal. I wonder if Harry ane Sirius are going to try to find a lady friend for Uncle Sev? How long will it take before Remus realizes that it isn't Tonks who is marrying Charlie? Looking forward to more.

Fudge was a fool to let everything ride on the trial. Maybe he thought Severus was hated so much that he wouldn't be able to mount a decent defense and he could be used as a scapegoat.

good story, but to be honest all the relationships got a bit to much, I understand you wanted everyone to have a happy ending, but by the end it all seemed so Disney like. but still it was a good effort.

    Author's Response:

Well, I'm a sucker for happy endings. You won't find a story of mine where most characters don't end well. It's just me, I love the angst through the story but in the end I like the hope that a story leaves you if after everything they've gone through they end well. In my opinion life gives you enough crappie endings, and I both read and write to escape those crappy endings. To find that yes, when people do bad things they do get punished and when they're decent human beings they get good things (which usually doesn't real life. My experience is that the poor suckers that try to be decent get the worst and the bastards that step on everyone get away with anything), So here I get to pretend that there could maybe be a chance that things could have a fair ending. Unrealistic, yes. But, *shrugs* who cares?? Not me! He,he.

Anyway, I'm happy you had fun! I hope you enjoy any other story of mine that you read and thank you so much for the feedback!

    Thank you so much.
I really enjoyed reading this series. It took me two days and i'm in a bit of trouble for staying up all last night to read it but it was worth it.
I liked the way you dedicated it to your friend, very nice.
    Congrats on a great series.

    Author's Response:

Thanks! I'm glad you had fun! I've done that a few times, but they are always worth it.
