Chapter 13?? Interesting times ahead?? Oh no im nervous. On the edge of my seat nervous. Oh my goodness you are enjoying making me squirm!!! Screw cruelly mean, you're downright evil!! And teasing us like that, we were so close to Harry getting help and then he didn't and I really really don't want him to go to that detention... Is it awful that I don't want him to go to the infirmary either? I want Snape to be the one that finds out and fixes him! I definitely remember the potion umbitch made Harry drink but I couldn't even speculate what is does. When it comes to umbridge (and you) I know for certain only that it's not going to be an obvious potion and it's going to be really really bad for Harry. Really bad. Or already is really bad for Harry? (It's possible the bird was my spy, reconnaissance is a vital part in your possible kidnap) I was thinking maybe we could go with themed masks. Balaclavas are kind of plain, you know, they don't even come in yellow or green, just black. I figure there should be masks of some kind, like Batman. Ooh or Snape masks! I'm sure you would appreciate the irony :) I've never had eggnog, I didn't even know it was really egg till you just said so but I'm pretty sure nog translates to rum, which is always a good thing :) especially good when it makes you write things like that haha. Wooh, apart from unsorted, which doesn't really count, we're winning! Which is actually surprising because I thought everyone, apart from you and me, (and wooh same house!) were either Gryffindor or Slytherin? Please don't abandon all attempts at publishing yourself, I fully intend on being at your booksigning one day. I just love that your guess about the potion is basically that because I’m writing it, it will be awful for Harry... I mean, you aren’t wrong, but it still made me laugh ^-^ and is it already bad for Harry... hmm, that is the question (well not really, but it sounded good ^^) hehe, and if that bird was on a recon mission I think it may have failed (at least if it splattered into our window... if not then it may have died from the heat... see, I’m not always a morbid, slightly disgusting person, it must just be my writing ^^) Ooooh, you could come out with your own line of balaclavas too! You know, something a bit more fashionable than the current trends in robbery and kidnapping. Pin stripes for the corporate mugging, pink hearts for the romantic type... could make a fortune! And if a bunch of Snapes kidnap me over my fanfic I’ll know who to look to (haha, I’ve figured out your master plan, and all it took was you telling me... oh...) Hehe, we’re still drinking egg nog actually so hopefully Antonomasia wont morph into a Christmas feel-good fic because of it *lmao... yeah, this could totally be feel-good ^^* - it is yummy though, you should try it... never know, it might improve your Christmas fic writing and or kidnapping skills... (maybe I should write to the company, get them to put that as a warning on the carton ^^) That’s because Ravenclaws are just naturally better though ^^ - and unsorted definitely doesn’t count, especially since people are sorting themselves out now... hahaha... I know, that attempt was horrible, no jokes from me... ever... ^^ I was surprised by the amount of various houses as well actually, as it is at the moment there are 3 Gryffs, 6 Ravens, 5 Slyths and 4 Puffs... interesting stats really, especially on here ^^ AWWW! *Hugs you ‘cos how can I possibly not?* - Well in that case how could I ever even think of not trying to get published someday? I’ll save you a seat (whether real or in my head... don’t worry there’s loads of room in there ^^) at my one day possibly maybe book signing ^-^ *fives more points because you just totally made my day more squeeful and somehow managed to motivate me... again... so your fault ^-^ In the meantime I suppose updates (... like the one that is so extremely overdue... sorry sorry sorry ^^ please don’t spontaneously combust or ransack the house when you kidnap me or anything!) will have to do ^^ Thanks, and I hope the New Year brings lots of muffins and cookies and other good things... like Snape masks. ^^

As for the potion... I think that it messes with Harry's mind. It makes it so that he can't disobey Umbitch. It probably also interfere's with Pomfrey's scan. It has a slimy consistency- you said that in the chapter didn't you?- and is called Umbitchacitus (just kidding. I should get points for creativity *grins*). And no, I don't think that was a bird hitting your window. Probably just bird poop. Or a rock from fans who are irritated that the next update isn't up yet :) Hufflepuff Author's Response: I’m so glad I’ve managed to get you to feel so much! And for some reason so many of my multichapter fics in any fandom ends up leaving people with this desire to see someone dead ^-^ weird. It really is the next chapter that most things come out, cant wait ^^. And your potion guesses, Oh they were fun to read ^-^ Well, I’ll tell you that you get ten points for the initial guess about the potion’s purpose... well done ^^ - and as for Umbitchacitus... nice, v. HOLY EFFING HELL DON'T GO HARRY DON'T GOOOOOOOO. SERIOUSLY. You have me on freaking tenterhooks. I am very very scared for my poor Harry and I think he needs to catch a break. Yay, finally, the big break I think the readers (and me) need... possibly more than Harry ^^ - and I think you’ll be surprised how very unpissed Snape will be... with Harry... when he *cough* finds him *cough cough*... hint btw, not asthma attack ^-^ - and there isn’t a whole heap more umbitch can do... but she will try... but I’ve been good and made it as pain free as possible for anyone reading!!! This chapter was amazing (I say that about all of them but I liked this one especially), but I just desperately, desperately, desperately (!!!) want something, anything, to prevent Harry from making it to that detention! I don't care who it is, or what - I'd rather he pass out than make it there ... but I know that my hopes will hold no sway in the next chapter which has probably already been planned out ... I was hardly daring to believe it when Snape was dragging him to the infirmary but just as I thought 'yes! it's actually going to happen!' Voldermort had to stick his flat, snake-like nose in. I don't think I've ever felt such a quick swing from hope to despair in a book before - you are one talented author! There's loads more I could write about (like your breath-taking insightings into the characters' minds and the beautiful descriptions) but they're present in every chapter so I won't go into detail, plus, my cat is plaintively telling me it's time to go to bed and give him a cuddle! Have a good christmas (this is given in advance in case I don't get to review before then) and take your time with the update - I won't add to the pressure I'm sure others are giving you in their desperation to read on! And as much as the next bit has been planned out (in as much as I plan anything... which is a little slipshod... at best ^^) I get so many ideas and new directions from reviewers and everything helps, whether in the direction of the fic or helping me know where each reader is coming from so please don’t think what you say has no sway over it, it really does! *more muffins* ^^ Aww *throws caution to the wind and hugs you* thank you! As for the potion I think it in a way hides the marks from view and doesn't allow the marks to heal correctly. Perhaps it also does something once it seeps into his skin internally since Harry is coughing up blood now. That's always a huge warning sign, and I have to hope he'll make it to the Hospital Wing in the next chapter and that Severus checks up on Harry, well in his own way to ensure Harry followed his instructions. I'm pretty sure there's also a mental component to the potion, or Umbridge's brainwashing is taking effect. You are so evil having Severus summoned away while Harry was so close to getting the help he needed. I just had to reiterate that. lol. Yay, you're going to have more writing time. =) I can't wait to read more, and yes, I know you're probably waiting for my next chapter, but I am seriously almost finished with my editing/revising my writing sample. I have a page and a half left for the current revision and the next ones shouldn't take nearly as long. Great job even if I think you're evil for teasing us like you have. Author's Response: I know! Not only that but it’s been so long since I’ve updated that he’s been in the process of flooing for days! Man must he be dizzy... it’s almost like it was planned that way. Quick, let us hunt down this evil orchestrator... orchestratress? Orchestratery-type-person which most definitely is not me ^-^. Yes, I’ve recently had sugar... candy canes are good ^^ Well, Harry sorta kinda almost passed out there but he’s good again now... that came out too blasé, I mean he’s still conscious which is about as ‘good’ as he’s gonna get for a few more hours (in the fic... that writing burst I had? All gone *sobs* hopefully it passed on to you ^^) Ahh, he does have a great many symptoms but then, his back is weeping and raw which may have a little something to do with the way Harry took ‘care’ of it ^^ Nice ideas about the potion too, reviews are wonderful things aren’t they, everytime I get a wonderful idea the potion in my fic sort of mutates a little bit ^^ And Harry will end up in the hospital wing and Severus will ‘visit’ I suppose... I really must stop leaving people in suspense, it’s a bit mean ^^ And I really like the last bit of your ideas about the potion... brainwashing... hmm... ^^ -ten points btw ^^ Hahaha I lose count of how many times you say I’m evil *laughs evilly* it’s a wonder you put up with me ^^ I did sort of do that just to torture anyone reading... because I’m mean... mwahaha ^^ Really hope that the writing sample is working for you and flowing far better than it seemed to be for so long.
