Very nice beginning. I'm looking forward to reading more. You have a gift for expressing a character's state of mind by their posture and actions.
The only guess I can make at the 'title/quote' is from the line in the second to last paragraph, Chapter 2 - "He wondered why things were the way they were."
"The Way They Were" is I believe the title of a Streisand film and song. Was I close?
I don't usually read work in progress story, because I fear they will not be completed, but this one seemed interesting... and I'm just glad I started it! I'm not an expert, but I really really like this story, so please don't stop writing!

The charactor developement is starting out very well. yout writing is picturesque without being overly wordy. i usually avoid stories until they are much further along (too much disapointment in getting into a story and having not finish) I am glad i started this one though. PLEASE carry this to an end.

I'm enjoying the story so far. I wonder who the ghostly presence is and why does Harry suddenly understand? I can't wait to find out.
