I’m so curious why they would go after Ron when he’s been hassling their “enemy number one”. I’m looking forward to reading on and finding out! I wish the Slytherins involved hadn’t played into the bias that is often held against their house.
I have a feeling that something of import in the wizarding world is going to happen soon that makes all the student infighting seem insignificant. Hopefully then Dumbledore’s speech from the feast will be remembered.
Good old Neville. He’s such an underrated character. I love seeing him get his due.
A poignant reflection on friendship at the end. Thank you.
I’m so proud of Harry for doing what was right instead of what was easy.
There were so many things to enjoy about this chapter - Draco opening up to Snape, Harry and Draco developing a nascent bond, the enhanced security, and Dumbledore’s speech which is a reflection on the ills of our world as well.
I really liked that chapter. The title of the story makes more sense now! Severus, Harry, and Draco all need each other, and I’m glad they’re taking steps towards being there for each other.
I’m glad that McGonagall was helpful in this instance in helping Severus to make things right with Harry. Ah jealousy. I hope that Draco and Harry can learn to share.
That was a unique twist on the history of the Longbottoms. I enjoyed reading about Harry’s day, and hope that Severus remembers in the morning!
