Aw! I am very much looking forward to the next chapter! It is a very well-written story with an interesting plot that fits nicely with the time line of the actual book.
Your characterization of both Snape and Harry is very well done as well, though Snape is a right bastard in the beginning. He is, however, making amends now.

They are beginning to become a family and don't even realize it. It's rather sweet and yet, sad at the same time. I do hope that Severus will be able to figure out who Harry's attacker is and soon and kick them straight to hell.

Good story. Like the use of the ghosts, and how Snape is slowly becoming protective of Harry - and someone needs to!
