Great chapter and I like the flashes of humour

Author's Response: A couple people called me out on the 'humor', but I'm glad you liked it.

I am rereading this story (because it is really good) and I noticed 2 chapters ago you had Lucius yell for Harry and Draco to run and get killed with an AK but in this chapter he is alive and torturing Neville...I got a bit confused

Author's Response: Yes, I hope that confusion was cleared up after chapter 29. I guess that's what I get for trying to be clever...

I liked the more unusual defenses of Hogwarts. Using the owls and the giant squid and other aquatic creatures of the lake was a neat idea. Moody's appearance was short but really good and in character, too. But we still haven't found Severus. I'm looking forward to the next chapter to see what is coming up next.

Author's Response: I tried to take advantage of all Hogwarts had to offer, so I'm glad you appreciate liked that bit of the battle. I'm writing this after posting the next chapter, so Moody does pop up again, as does Snape. Thanks so much for commenting!
