Reviews For The Biggest Mistake of Them All?
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I'm totally bowled away by all the lovely feedback! I think it's down to Gracie and the wonderful beta-ering job she did, she made this readable! *laughs* No, there was nothing under the bed really, except Harry's courage and Snape's pride. Both of them seemed to lose those by the end of the evening and what better hiding place than under the bed? Thanks!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review! I am so happy you liked it! I did enjoy writing it so much. I wasn't thinking of a sequel at all but everyone's been so nice that I think I owe it to them! So yes, I will do a sequel. It will be around Christmas though because the rest of this term is going to be pretty hectic. Thanks again!
Author's Response: Thank you so much for the review, it means such a lot to me! I'm so glad you liked it. *giggles* yes, Snape is a total marshmellow when you remove the wings!
This was a wonderful story, that left me wanting more!! Great job Angel. :) Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! *giggles* I can just imagine Dumbledore telling Snape that the fixture is actually permenant! I am so glad you enjoyed it, it really means a lot to me. As I was saying to OE, I didn't even know the stories were beginning to be put up yet and so it was a lovely surprise. Now, I just can't wait to read everyone else's!!! Thanks so much!
Loved how Harry opened up by the end; though, considering, he didn't speak to Snape for most of the day, I was rather surprised when he asked the Professor to be read a bedtime story. Not complaining, though. :) Adorable little story! Well done! Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I'm so glad you liked it! I love writing little Harry, I often struggle with small childrens' speech though but that didn't matter very much in this story as I made sure little Harry didn't give me any difficulty and he kept very quiet for me, lol. It is funny seeing Snape cope with the sweet things in life, I think a rose and some dog poo fall under the same category in Snape's book! Yes, it was rather a quick turn around for Harry to cuddle him at the end but I decided that no one can look scary when they are sleep (not that I sit around and watch people, you understand *giggles*) and little Harry had had such a scary day that all he wanted was a cuddle and with his motheaten old bear back at the Dursleys Snape was just the second best thing! Harry is impulsive, I think, and so I think he climbed onto his knee impulsively. Besides, he's only little and the need for a cuddle outweighed the feared consequences for the time being, I'm getting a bit scientific now, and I'm just making it up so I'll be quiet now. LOL! Harry's cuddle was a surprise considering Snape scared him but I guess he wasn't as scary after he heroically defeated the scary (and non-existant) boggart and read countless bedtime stories. Thanks so much for the review!!!
Author's Response: Thank you so, so much! I'm so glad you liked the first sentence. I tend to write them last because the first sentence is always hard to get over and I find if I start in the middle and then work down and then go back to the top then I've got into the swing of it and I don't have to sit staring at a blank document waiting for the first sentence to fall out of the sky, which it never does anyway. That was such a complex sentence, it's because I'm so excited about the fest. I can't type fast enough! I'm quite breathless *breathes in, out, in, out* there, that's a bit better. Anyway, thank you so much!
Author's Response: Thanks so much for the review! I was all confused earlier when I checked my email and suddenly had so many reviews when I hadn't updated anything and then I saw what they were for and I was like "the fest has started!" And then I was really excited! Especially as I was first, I wasn't expecting that at all and it's so great! (Thanks so much!) I didn't know the fics were starting to be posted from now and so it was a lovely surprise! I'm so glad you liked it! I was going to have an actual boggart under the bed but then I beta-ered Leilia Snape's and I didn't want mine to be too similiar to hers (especially as hers was so good! otherwise mine would just be a worse version of hers) so I changed it slightly and when I'd done it I thought it fitted in better with my Snape anyway. Gosh, I do blabber. The basics of this reply; thanks so much for the lovely review, thanks so much for creating such a great fest for me to take part in, thanks so much for starting with my story and thanks so much everything you do for P&S! Oh, and I'm so glad you liked it; that was a pretty key part of the reply as well! |
