I agree with Severus. James has no common sense if he'd let a six year old ride a hippogriff alone, especially when Harry had already had problems while Buckbeak was still on the ground

I am with James in this. I broke my leg when I was five - I fell off bed. It would be more fun to fell off Buckbeak

james may of not meant for the accident to happen but he didn't think anything through properly at all and it was harry who suffered the consenquences for his actions.

severus had every right to be angry with james and sev did well in keeping his temper

Author's Response: Thanks so much! Poor Harry, but it could have been so much worse!

You've created a wonderful world here, with the bonus that my least favourite character - Sirius- doesn't look set to feature too much. I'm surprised that I can't tell who's writing - it flows seamlessly.

Author's Response: Thankas and no Sirius won't be in it much.  Hope you like the next chapter!

Oh James is so stupid! I want Sev to kick his ass so bad! Him or Lily! Poor Harry, I feel so bad for him. He never should have gotten on that hippogriff. He's too little to ride one and his father should have known that.

Author's Response: A lot of people feel the same and he really needs to learn to think beofre he acts, especially with a young child.  maybe now he'll learn better.

Aw, poor Harry. Thank God he's okay.

No thanks to James. Great chappie Snapegirl, and I'm looking forward to seeing Snape kick James' ass.

Author's Response: Oh Severus is furious as is Lily and so will others be too. James is going to get an earful and then some.  Thanks for reviewing!

What an idiot! He ought to have his custody privileges revoked because he was so irresponsible. Severus should have knocked him out. I would have. I hope Harry will be all right.

Author's Response: Actually I probably would have too! You'll see how Harry is doing in the next chapter.

Yep, my psychic prediction came true. James really needs to take a grow-up-already pill. He was incredibly irresponsible to allow Harry up on Buckbeak by himself without ensuring that he would be safe. He obviously cannot be trusted with Harry or any other child without supervision. I fully support the idea of them doing whatever it takes to keep Harry out of harms way, even if that requires making his time with James abbreviated and monitored.

    Great chapter!

Author's Response: You are absolutely right. And sadly there are real people like this, I happen to know of a few.  They will be doing everything they can to protect harry and to make James realize that he needs to grow up and stop acting like a child and act like an adult.
